I think I'll rent this, as I like the concept, and it seems to be much better than MySims Kingdom, which was fun for a little while and got old really fast.
PS2 version is also easier to find, at least that is what I found.
I'm not a Tarantino or a shooter fan, but I thought it might be something my husband would like (huge Tarantino fan himself)... but I guess it's a disappointment.
Never heard of this game, but I'm not a big fighter fan. Still, it sounds really interesting (and unique).
Thanks for the review. I am always up for an old-school RPG :D! I love SNES-style graphics. :)
Yet another game I've missed, lol. I'll have to give it a shot some time if I can track down a copy...
I know they have an anime convention here near me every year at Easter. It was actually really funny because my husband's parents stayed at that hotel (they've always stayed there) one year when they came to visit for Easter. Made things very interesting for them to see all the kids dressed up (they're from rural New Mexico and didn't have any idea what was going on)!
LOL. Well, if you don't like adventure games, you probably won't like them. Sort of like I don't like shooters so I won't like even the best shooter. But it's really hard to argue with free. Although the 3rd episode is the best.
Maybe if we told them they could rename it "Imagine: Beyond Good & Evil" they'd revive the project... ROTFL.
LOL! Not only Canadians like Hockey.
Give us games not included in the PSP Genesis Collection and you will have my money, since I already have both the PSP and PS3 Sega Collections.
Yes, unfortunately not all post offices participate in it :(. But it is nice if you have one that does, because you get your games much faster.
Personally, I think the biggest problem with the Go isn't just the price for the unit itself, but the fact that the digital versions of UMD games will be the same as full MSRP. So in most cases, you will pay much more for the digital version than your friends with the UMD will. You also can't buy used games or rent games (unless they make this a new option), which means you will always be paying full price.
I also think limiting the included memory to only 16GB was a big mistak...
Ditto. Although I have read in several reviews that control issues are really annoying :(. I guess the developers put so much focus on testing the concept that the controls fell by the wayside??
I mean, the ending felt like a Deus ex Machina, but it really wasn't since it was technically set up throughout the story... but it just felt sooo cheesy to me that I found it disappointing.
Hmm I was looking at this as more of a rental anyway, but glad to see it got high marks. :)
I love BubbleBobble... I guess this isn't the same version released on WiiWare as I don't have a 360 :(. I do have the classic on VC though... good times :D.
I suppose it's better than wanting to go to Toys R Us and get the toys...?
I'm sorry to hear that... I did mine through Amazon and it processed on the 22nd and shipped on the 23 or 24 (I did standard shipping), so I should have it either today or early next week :(.
I would compare it to something like Endless Ocean for Wii. You basically go around taking pictures. I'm really looking forward to it myself, as I think it will be relaxing and it looks amazing. I just wish Amazon would have it at the real list price of $49.99 instead of $59.99 :(.
