I still have to play the original FF VII...
I have to say I like the art style, and admire what they're trying to do with this one, but since I don't like shooters, I'll pass this one.
In that case, Dante's Inferno will be a big hit.
Yeah, I like the style as well. I picked it up when NIS offered it for half-off the other day, but I haven't played enough of it to chuck my PSP across the room, as I've heard it makes you want to do occasionally.
Yeah, apparently the patch really makes the game a lot better. I might have to try it myself as well.
I really want the Afrika one...
I agree, I refuse to spend money on my Home avatar (don't have a 360 right now). If it's free, fine, but otherwise, no thank you.
BTW, maybe it was just me, but your website font is microscopic! Thank god for Firefox's "Zoom in" feature...
Been looking forward to this game for a while. I think I might pick it up today, although I'm wondering how much I will enjoy the other modes.
Personally, I wouldn't agree with this list, but that doesn't mean the list is bad. I certainly think Oblivion deserves a space on the list, and from what I have heard (haven't played it myself), so does MGS4.
I was always curious what this game was like, but never played it... maybe I'll have to check it out.
I've been looking forward to this game for a while. Let's hope it doesn't disappoint :(.
Finally! I've been trying to find a review of this, and so far the only one was a glowing one from Game Informer. Sad to see it has a lot of issues that hold it back... maybe I'll cross my fingers that they'll improve it in a PS3 port down the road...
I have to admit I was skeptical at first (thinking it was just a coincidence), but then the second page of arguments was too much (in my opinion) for it to be random chance. I hope it was just one of those things that happened unintentionally :S. Interesting read.
Yeah, that was pretty freaky.
I would like to learn Japanese just to play all these DQ games since they take so long to get localized :S. lol.
Batman AA did this a teensy bit with the Scarecrow segments. I just wish they had done more of it. I love that stuff (sanity effects).
Really interesting article. As you say, what makes Citizen Kane such a pinnacle of cinema is that it did so many things that were truly revolutionary at the time: the non-linear plot, the deep focus shots, the fact that he included ceilings in his sets, etc. Deep focus in particular was revolutionary because it conveyed so much, story-wise, in just a single shot (for example, the sequence from Kane's childhood, when his family is talking about him inside while he's outside playing in the sn...
Well, looks like the store I pre-ordered from will be open, but considering I wouldn't be playing it until the next day anyway, I think I can wait a few more hours.
@Jamie, I believe they recently removed the cap for XBLA. I would love to see some of the Dreamcast games appear on PSN, especially Shenmue.
Yes, I've never played it either myself... although now that it's available on PSN, I may try it out some day.
