Yeah, I really wanted this to be a near 10/10, but I just couldn't. I have to say that the final build was vastly improved over the pre-release press copy, but it still couldn't measure up compared to previous episodes. Overall, it was just disappointing, and the puzzles were, for the most part, no fun, so I really couldn't justify giving it a higher score unfortunately.
However, the series is still great overall and I still recommend it. I do want to play through it all again...
Monkey Island is a series from back in the hey-day of LucasArts point-and-click adventure games.
I think Secret may have been the first of this series, which was recently released by LucasArts on PC and XBLA.
Tales of Monkey Island is a brand-new game in the franchise, made by TellTale but with permission from LucasArts.
Hope that clarifies ;).
Yeah, between the balance board and the upcoming camera technologies (like Natal), it sort of seemed like too little too late...
What seems sad is that it seems like the people who would be most interested in this are those who aren't real skaters, but based on the review, it seems like you have to be a real skater to enjoy the game... and if you're a real skater, wouldn't you rather be out there, you know, really skating?
I'm really looking forward to trying the demo and glad the PS3 will be getting a deluxe version :D (since I don't have a 360).
Not a bad list. I've actually been surprised that Gran Turismo hasn't done very well in terms of sales...
I've also been following this for a while, and it's nice to see it's turning out well for the NA release. :) Now to start saving up my pennies...
They do have some humorous ones.

This is meant as a "hater," but seems to me like they needed to figure out a better way to implement this... like a camera or something to better track your movements... :S Interesting concept, though.
Hmm... a little disappointing... I guess I'll stick to Puzzle Quest :).
That's disappointing. I guess they figure people will buy it without reading reviews, and then it's too late (mwhahahahaha!) LOL.
Great article with hilarious pictures that makes some good points. :)
I think I am one of the few people in the world who owns a PS3/360 and doesn't have any desire to ever play this game, lol. But I don't like shooters, so it could be the best shooter in the world and it wouldn't matter. However, interesting to see the high score all the same, as I had read some felt it was overrated.
I got it on Black Friday, but haven't had a chance to play yet. I can't wait, though... especially after reading this review!!
I'd heard of this, but not being a sports game fan, really had no idea what it was... seems like more of EA trying to milk people for money :S.
LOL. Neat list. Especially the DDR machine.
Great guide. OF the games on the list I don't already have, I still want GOW Collection, and I want to try Assassin's Creed II.
They aren't marked down so far as I can see. Right now you can get Sims 3 for $29 at Amazon.
That was pretty funny. The commercials themselves were amusing, but the commentary was great.
Regardless, Activision is laughing all the way to the bank...
I think this might be my first pre-order of 2010...
