In some aspects it is, like SSD and astoundingly better CPU, on others it isn't, If I would have to give it a straight answer, I would say no.
They'll probably share the first set of numbers because on launch everything sells out, only with the really hardcore crowd you have enough to sell easily, without even trying, your first 5 to 10 million units, so I'm pretty sure they will share the first set of numbers and from there, nothing.
It's so obvious how they come around to these opinion pieces just in time to publish them before any new major Sony event.
This is a clue of things to come, a lot of those Game Pass games, specially the smaller ones will have simplified gameplay to be able to do this right here and reach those "billions" of players.
AWESOME spot! It started with that The Who kinda riff, really great sense of adventure.
I think they'll probably do that at PAX, show the UI and maybe the Deep Dive, Wednesday will be about games and hopefully information on release date, price and pre-orders.
It does look way better than on previous showings, hopefully they keep these improvements going all the way till release, we might have a sleeper on our hands if they keep at it.
Maybe Physical GAME STORES, but not stores that sell games, you will still be able to buy physical at places like walmart, Target, Best Buy and Digitally through Amazon, even Gamestop will probably go online store only.
"So we decided to go for a unique visual treatment to make this game standout from other games. It’s not another Assassin’s Creed, it’s not like the same Prince of Persia from 2008. It has to be unique. This magic, this fantasy is shown through the saturation, through the light, so it also a challenge to redefine the visual identity of the game with this remake"
What a bunch of BS, the game looks like CRAP, this is not about "a visual style" it looks lik...
Microsoft is throwing a lot of money around, we all knew for months what the Series S was, nobody was saying nothing about it, now that we're close to release they're trying to build a narrative that this is a turning point for MS and a stroke of genius.
We've know for months if not close to a year that the series S was a real thing, that it was 4tf machine and that it was going to be a lot cheaper than the Series X (and Ps5).
That's why I said "that's what they show", they are pushing Game Pass SO hard, that the entirety of their marketing is based on that, they are putting all their chips on the Game Pass basket, even though they do have other things.
The difference is that for Sony Ps Now is an option they offer, it's one more product for whom is interested in that kind of thing, MS is putting everything they have behind Game Pass, without Game Pass MS has nothing else, or at least that's what they show.
In the words of the greats Tenacious D, "yeah, it looks great!, COMPARED TO BULLSHIT!!"
It looks more like a remaster than a remake, no effort into this, night and day difference between this and what Bluepoint does.
Lol, they also got on the bandwagon of using a non existent term to hype their surely generic titles.
UP TO 120fps**, just like when you see a sale on a store and it says UP TO 75% off and once you start checking out the things there are actually like only 3 items that go for that high of a discount.
Will it be able to achieve something like that on some games, yes, on most games, no.
When they say it will play up to 120fps, they mean games like Ori, there's no way it will play more demanding games at 1440p and 120fps, can it play some games like that yes, most of them, no, just the same way as it's unrealistic to think that all games would be 4K 120fps on the Series X or Ps5, even more out of the Series S
As long as it says nintendo, nintendo fans are happy to pay full price for, it doesn't matter if it's a half-assed compilation of old games without any kind of improvements.
@UltraNova
Showing Xbox Series X games on PC is TIGHT!
Yep, some people were complaining about Sony Misleading people about pre-orders opening today only to wake up today and find out that they were sold out, I tried midnight EST first and then 3 hours later midnight PST, was able to secure mine from best buy, today started at midnight, not at a comfortable 8 am. The demand is just too high.
