Dude, XC was a Wii game that was later ported to a "new Nintendo 3ds", even with the small upgrades to the visuals, it's still a port of a wii game that on occasions runs while DOCKED at 504p on a switch, how lazy is that?

Why would they, whatever they release their fanboys will just go gaga over it, I mean, Xenoblade Chronicles DE on the switch (amazing game, don't get me wrong), runs at a variable resolution of 504p-720p when docked, nobody said anything about it.

FFVII remake was fantastic, was it perfect? No game is, but they did a much better job than anyone could've expected, I put a good 90 hours in there and got my platinum.

Honestly, I've never really cared about resolution, If a game looks amazing, it looks amazing, for example I have no idea at what resolution God Of War played, all I know is that it looks amazing, people who pixel count by looking at DF videos because they cannot actually see the difference and then brag about something they cannot even notice, that's plain stupid.
And some people still think that the Xbox it's been outsold by the PlayStation ONLY 2:1, they must be close to the 3:1 ratio by now.

I do agree with you, but you cannot release ONLY WiiU ports at the expense of new games, I mean what are all their teams working on? They don't even need to support both a handheld and a console anymore, they should be releasing more games, not less.
Nintendo just doesn't care, they have a money printing machine with the Switch, they have their small group of hardcore fans which will praise them no matter what they do and a large chunk of casuals that buy the switch for their children which will also buy whatever looks shiny.

Then they talk about MS being "pro-consumer" not only are they are basically charging you for Xbox Live only to play online, because there is no value on the games they give you anymore. But even worse, they are "steering" customers towards Game Pass which in some business sectors is actually an illegal practice or at least an unethical one.
