In-Depth Plan:
"Get more money, release nothing"
They are doing the same thing they did with Halo, sold a bunch of yearly gamepass subscriptions on the promise of these games coming out in 2022 and then delayed them to 2023, once they come out, they will be a incomplete game with the promise of more to come and by then they will focus on a new set of games to over promise, delay and the under deliver.
Halo infinite was financed by MS, this is financed by "people", big difference.
Money Laundering, The Game.
Blame all the great reviews this game got at launch for what is happening, it certainly made them and Microsoft feel like they did enough.
Maybe they will have a more tactical version of their battle system and I am still hoping for additional party members, find it amazing how little we know about this game.
Didn't this game get great reviews at launch? I remember a very small minority already talking about what a trainwreck this was, with lack of content all around, games modes and even the single player campaign being ok to good at best, but it still received great reviews based on the GaaS promise of more to come.
Now here we are 6 months after and this game is dead an seems like everybody hates it.
I mean, the game was universally panned, I think both the developers and publisher at some point saw the game was going to be very bad and decided to cut their losses at the expense of making this terrible game maybe just bad.
Is that right for the consumer? Not at all and I am not defending neither but let's not pretend that Yuki Naka if allowed to "finish" the game would have made that much of a difference, on a fundamental basic level this game was bad.
32 times the details!!
Nintendo and Sony sell like 20 million+ copies of their franchise IPs, why would they even put that day one on a service?
Sony both has the service with the biggest amount of subscriptions with PS+ all the while still selling their games individually, why would they want to match MS offer?
BOOOBIES!!!
Once you see the trailer, you will understand.
Lol, "despite negative user reviews" as if regular people actually check any of that stuff, this is not Amazon that you can see it straight next to the game.
Right or wrong, regular people (non forum gamers) do not check any of that.
Balan wonderland was mostly panned by everyone, but when you see that is getting between 6 and up and then you see a 2, that is just straight unfair, there should be some semblance of objectivity, 2 is an unplayable broken mess
Maybe not Stella, but at least "good", only for them to put 2/10 after maybe playing a couple hours, I am of the opinion that the top 10% and the bottom 10% should be removed from averages, that way you weed out the 2/10 for clicks and some of the perfect 10s because fanboy.
I have one that is going to turn 2 next month and another one coming in June, I applaud you.
Yep, this is going to be a limited time mini-series, LOL.
"I’m honestly having more fun with cyberpunk than I am w/ forbidden west if I’m being completely honest."
I honestly think you are not being honest about your honesty, if I'm honest myself.
Not only a sequel, the first sequel in a game series, we are not even talking about being on the fifth entry where it might start to feel more of the same.
This is the first sequel in a game series where they expanded basically in everything, but for them, not groundbreaking, I guess horizon 2 needed to be a beatboxing game now.
You could glide with Knuckles in Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast, Shadow of the colossus among many other games had a stamina system, but I guess this reviewer only likes to mention other people use for their games, Tired of hearing that BOTW reinvented the wheel, That Zelda copies many things from lesser and better games but nobody said anything about it.
But with a Sony franchise they are always so nitpicky, now for a sequel and we are not even talking about the fifth ga...
A few days or weeks ago news came out saying that Sony invested $300 millions into their first party teams, now this says they are expecting $300 million to come from PC sales. Coincidence? I do not think so.
They are clearly taking the additional income on games that already ran their course on the PlayStation ecosystem to invest it into their first party developers, I would say this is a win for all parties.
