I loved Like a Dragon, I even got the platinum for it, is there room for improvement? Definitely, but that also gets me even more excited about the sequel.
At least they celebrate SALES milestones.
They promoted the game at several events to build hype at the time since it was so far away and they needed stuff to promote, but once we approached release they went full radio silence because they knew it was crap.
@Petebloodyonion
Wow, just wow.
This guy makes it seems as if Sony cooked the deal in only a couple of days because MS, this guy is so oblivious to how business work. You cannot even do the paperwork for a deal of this magnitude in that amount of days.
That is just stupid, how in all hell will you recoup that money back??
LOL, Is Stadia still a thing? Surprised is still a functioning service since we do not hear about it anymore, like at all, talk about dead.
Another one bites the dust.
That's a good list, I would add Koudelka, such a great Horror Jrpg and the precursor to the shadow hearts games
“Since 2002, we have contributed to well over 100 titles, including great PlayStation franchises, such as God of War, inFAMOUS, and Twisted Metal,”
Oh wow, support in more than 100 titles, I do agree with you in the sense that it does make it look like Sony is trying to bolster game output by getting these support developers.

There, fixed.
At this point and at the rate the money just keeps coming in, it looks more and more like a money laundering machine.
I think the main issue is that structurally the game is just ok, you can polish it as much as you want to and it will certainly be a good game by then, but not great or amazing or groundbreaking as people were expecting, it might end up being a good functioning game.
If that turns out to be the Ps+ month, quite cool, I know Godfall had some issues at launch, hopefully by now I get to play the better version of the game, looks like a solid 7.
Mortal Shell just icing on the cake.
I mean, being number 2 by itself doesn't mean a lot without knowing actual numbers in general, what does the average top 3 sell within the Xbox Ecosystem now, if number 1 sold 100K copies and number 2 is at 70k I wouldn't necessarily consider that a victory, number 2 or not.
"In space Zurs or Zims can't hear you scream"
Releasing games on 2 months of the year and then leave the rest of the year to the other 2 consoles it's also NOT how it works
Not only small ones, they gave a team like Guerrilla that up until then was a FPS developer the go ahead to make Horizon, Kojima with Death Stranding giving him the Decima Engine, Returnal to Housemarque, Ghost of Tsushima, Dreams with Media Molecule, most of what they do is take risks, nobody delivers more new IPs each generation.
EA: Technically we are not taking money from kids, kids do not have money, they use their parents money to buy stuff from us (most of the time with the parents not even aware of this), SO, technically we are taking money from their parents and we are ok with that.
I felt the exact same way, at one point I just stopped playing all together seeing how I got sent halfway across to map to a new location to get there by boat, that was the end of it for me, it stopped being fun and it was just overwhelmingly big for no reason.
