All he said was that Halo was slow, and it's true. UT has a much faster pace, and is way more hectic. That's why UT is one of the leading competitive games.
The problem is I have a pretty good PC gaming rig, and I'm planning on upgrading it. I know Halo 3 will come out on PC within a year an a half, so will Mass Effect most likely just like Kotor and Jade Empire. I already have Bioshock, and PGR is just another racer. The only thing really fueling me to get an Xbox360 is pure impatience.
I'll admit that the Halo buzz is tempting me to get into 360, but I'm afraid I would buy Halo and then never buy another game for it. I might just be safer to stick with my PC and wait for Halo 3 to be released on Vista.

Usually anything that goes up against GTA for GOTY loses. It will be interesting to see a head to head between Killzone and Halo.
It's pretty much no contest to say that this is the best looking game of '07, I hope it can also be one of the best games of '07.
Halo 3 just released, but it's not on the list. Crysis, which isn't out till November is on the list. Overall I think this list is mashed together and doesn't look like much thought was put into it.
Since when did fans of the series enjoy these movies? They took a respectable game franchise and turned it into a joke. Why can't movie execs see that we want story lines that stay true to the games?

The story behind MC may be greater than Gordon Freeman, especially since the part of Gordon is silent, but the Half-Life series has always trumped Halo as far as any PC gamer is concerned. Not that it really matters, does it?
How can you give a game a 10/10, but still state negatives about it? A 10/10 is a perfect score to be reserved for a probably non-existent "perfect game". If a game has flaws then it is not perfect. If it is not perfect then it doesn't deserve a perfect score. I enjoyed the first two games for what they were, but they did have shortcomings, as does this one. PC World is not a PC gaming publication. It is a technical magazine that covers all technology, Personal computers leading among them. Try not to get crazy over every review. You're still going to buy it and play it so in the end make up your own mind and stop worrying what everybody else thinks.
Perhaps if you cared to actually look at the site you would see that they cover all areas of the technology spectrum on PC world. They are not soley a PC gaming magazine. You are constantly refering to him as a PC gamer. Why? The man is a journalist no diferent from any on the Gamepro, IGN, TeamXbox, or GameInformer staff. Also you infantile jabs show your overall level of maturity or lack there of.

I would like to remind you that this game will be released for PC in mostly the same form you will see it on the 360. Just like Halo and Halo 2 it will be scrutinized by PC gaming journalists, so your point of "PC journalists can't review this game" has no merit whatsoever.
Wow, your right...How could someone who has a degree in journalism, but got hired as a PC gaming journalist instead of as a Console game journalist possibly understand the complexities and possible shortcomings of a console game. It's like traveling to a foreign country and trying to understand their customs in a single day. I have truly realized the folly of my ways.
