I'm jealous, I don't have broadband capabilities, so I can't get the demo. So that just mean even more nail biting for me waiting the the retail game.
^^ Yes that number was confirmed.
Just because they haven't show much narrative doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Read PC Gamer's 5-page revieww when becomes available on the news stand. I'm a subscriber so I got it early. They gave it a 98% and called it the best FPS of the year. They also stated that it has a well paced story line with quality voice acting. So just because Crytek chooses to show off their graphics and gameplay doesn't mean the game is that shallow.
Lol, time for an upgrade.
I'll trust PC Gamer's 89% review over GamePro's opinion. I do admit that this game probably isn't going to live up to it's initial hype. I guess former Blizzard employees aren't imbued with the same magical powers as actuall Blizzard employees.
Yeah, if the PS3 version is your only real option go for it and enjoy it. For me as a PC/PS3 gamer I'll be going with the PC version. Just having all the Mods is enough of a reason to get it for the PC.
Unlike Bioshock, Crysis is supposed to actually have a satisfying end game. Crysis will probably be the best FPS of this year. Too bad more people can't see past the awesome graphics to see the game actually has depth.
Why would you say it doesn't deserve a 98%? You need to look beyond Crysis's insane level of spit and polish and realize that there is more to this game than just graphics.
I don't think the point is that we in the US have the slowest service or the worst deals. I think the point is that being one of the leading developed nations, why are we falling behind other developed nations that have superior broadband availability and Speed?
Sorry, but Ubisoft isn't much better than EA when it comes to in house productions. You can probably expect FarCry 2 to ba a good looking-ish generic shooter with no real redeeming qualities. While the exclusive review of Crysis in PC Gamer has nothing but good things to say about it. Also expect it to be total crap on the Wii just like the other FarCry title they released for it.
Yes, I own Far Cry and I loved it. It was exceptionally good for a company's first game. When it released it was 2nd best to Half Life 2 and better than Doom 3 in my opinion. Also the story line in Crysis is nothing like that of Far Cry. In Far Cry your opponents were mercenaries and genetically created monsters and super soldiers. In Crysis you're fighting the Korean military and an invading species of aliens, also Crysis is designed to go on as a possible trilogy, where Far Cry 2 has almost...
He gives no supporting information to back up his conclusions. Also this is an amateur site, which is apparent from the review. PC Gamer has reviewed the actual game, not the demo, and given it a 98% and they're are one of my most trusted sources for PC game reviews.
Is he reviewing it as an MMO? If he is he's retarded. This game has multiplayer but it is not an MMO. It is also not the first review. PC gamer already reviewed about a week ago and gave it a sore of 89%
Crysis is the real spiritual successor of Far Cry. After Ubisoft bought the rights to Far Cry they pretty much beat it to death. Far Cry 2 may be good, but I don't expect it to be on par with Crysis.
There is nothing special about NG. It's story is lame, and the gameplay is difficult but extremely simple. The guy who makes these games seems more concerned with the size and shape of the heroines mammary glands than he is with the actual game.
Put another nail in AMD's coffin because they are dead. I'm glad I waited to upgrade. Now I might be able to pay $400 and get a great SLI setup.
The PC will always be the best place for Valve developed titles. I also have doubt's about the Wii's controls as far as a First Person game.
This is in recognition of the games they used to make before their games started sharing the same fate as the new Star Wars movies.
Please take whatever attention seeking disorder you have and go elsewhere.
Apple * (0)Games = (PC > Apple)
I will admit IPod > Zune
