Red Steel was a million seller, and it wasn't even good!
RE4 was a million seller as well...but that one deserves it.
Everyone is selling on the Wii.
10 out of 10 doesn't mean the game is perfect, just that it is good enough that, when you are done, you couldn't ask for more, but not that it was perfect and no game could ever be better.
"I wonder how the DS is doing in japan.."
Shh, they might not know that the PSP only stayed in the lead for a month.
People are still rushing out to get the weakest console with the most bad games from last gen.
"Strange how no one seems to do that for bad ps3 games unless they are hyped."
Because, otherwise, it gets rejected.
With games like Brawl, Endless Ocean, No More Heroes, Mario Kart, Mushroom Men, Okami, Monster Lab, Animal Crossing, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Dragon Quest Swords, and FF: CC comming out in '08...how are they going to lose momentum?
There are a lot of good games comming out for the Wii, so I don't see how it will slow down.
Well if it was just a giggle with not relavence to the story, I guess it's off topic spam.
If its not, then you're saying the Wii isn't next gen by giggling at that sentence.
Either way, I disagree.
There is only one word to describe that...so long as a sign comes before it.

Priceless!
Well, if the Wii was only selling in the millions, and not the tens of millions, per year...
Oh, and Nintendo also has to worry about the DS, which is selling even better than the Wii.
The DS and Wii, combined, very easily pass 1 million units per month sold!
Also, you underestimate how complex making a Wii actually is. Accelorometers aren't easy to make (pfft, anyone can build a computer or something like it), and the companies that make them are...
Sure it is.
The only people who I've heard talk bad about Mario are people I know or don't think have played it.
"giving bioshock an 8/10 then giving bladstorm the same 8/10 makes me know about egde"
That, like almost everyone else, they give out too many high scores, leaving good games either grouped with the great games or mediocre games?
"Gamers have Blu-ray players and HD DVD add-ons, it's very relevant."
Gamers have cars to go to the store and pick up games, too, but you don't want to see something about some new car that runs on human urine in the industry news section...tech, sure, industry news, no.
Each fan base is like a fan base for an NFL team.
Wii fans are like Colts fans. They're not nearly as loud, but they're proud of their choice and let their choice do most of the talking.
360 fans are like Raiders fans. They get really pumped up and go all out, even though their choice isn't that good at the moment, and they always hope it can improve.
PS3 fans are like Pats fans. They're loud, they say whatever helps their cause at the time, and...
"PS3 is walking to Rule in Japan"
Like the PSP when it bear the DS for a month.
Oh wait...it was only a month.
You're looking at far too small of a sample size to decide anything yet. Long term trends mean more than 2 weeks of a bleep on the radar...wait for this to become a long term trend before you celebrate again.
It's unlikely it will drop off too much. I know people who want this game but aren't getting it now, because they're asking for it for Christmas.
That should indicate sales will be strong for quite a while...assuming it's not an isolated occurance, and, given the time of its release, it would suprise me if it was.
How about some names so we can check some sources? I could easily say I have a friend that owns one small electronics store in the UK that sells 500k Wiis a week. Obviously, inless I give some more information, you're not going to believe me, though, so why would anyone believe your friend without knowing who he is?
Also, I'm a bit confused, since "we sold a grand total of zero," why, of his 800 stores, do "none of them have any in stock."
T...
People like to say bad things about the Wii. At least most of them seem to live at home and have younger siblings that have a Wii, and they've happened to play some games, because it would be a shame for anyone not to get to enjoy Mario Galaxy, even those that feel they must talk bad about it to justify their console of choice.
Exactly. People want the Wii, not just any game console. Wii will sell out and leave people wanting more, but those left out in the cold aren't going to go buy a console that they don't consider the best, either, because we're talking about a lot of money to buy a single console!
The Wii is actually the sustem drawing developers. Costs are lower and the high install base means more potential profit. The high attach rate of the 360 means something, but not everything.
With "nothing" like Brawl, Endless Ocean, No More Heroes, Mario Kart, Mushroom Men, Okami, Monster Lab, Animal Crossing, Disaster: Day of Crisis, Dragon Quest Swords, and FF: CC, I don't think I need anything.
