I don't see how they are in disarray...
Their departments are all still making successful games and their multiple departments are still stable. In fact, they are actually building a new building. (I forget what it is for though. I assume for another department, or to expand on an existing one, which is why I brought it up.)
The 3ds has a hefty lineup and a strong list of upcoming games in all regions. And the wii, considering the fact that as many people that cou...
That's how I usually see it. ^_^
Different preferences, Nyc.
My ps3 gathers dust. So what?
You play your playground games of "my daddy is a fighter pilot neer neer.", and I'll play my games. (And obviously, what I'm doing now. ~_~; ...ehe... aw, crap....^_^;)
Ouch, my writing was awful.... >.<;
Stupid tablet keyboard.
Seriously, it is not a bursting bubble. It has reached its peak. These two things are vastly different.
Don't even break the 20 mark? Challenge accepted! (Yes, list incoming... ugh...)

"What has Nintendo shwn you with the 3ds and wii?"
Good games.
That's the whole point, after all.
It wasn't a bubble anymore than any other generation of consoleswhose sales tapered off near the end.
Sony could keep sell ps3s for years and never manageto even catch up to the wii. How is this in any way a failure just because there sales have started to recede?
The economic idea that something must keep growing or be considereda failue is just bullcrap.
And furthermore, anyone keeping up to date with the wiiu and Nintendo knows that they are embracing t...
"I used my Vita for a full week, almost non-stop,"
Are you sure this isn't the reason?
^_^;
He didn't say everyone should like Nintendo. He just meant that you shouldn't bet against them, that you shouldn't doubt wether or not they will be successful.
One of the 3 original Sonic the Hedgehog co-creaters is working at Namco Bandai, and is currently working on some secret prodjects...
This may not have much to do with this, but I just thought I'd throw some extra info out there. ^_^;
It will be paid dlc.
But the first batch, launching with the game, will be free for around a month after release.
I don't want to troll your comment, but I don't see how sony has a stranglehold when all its consoles combined sell less than its major competitor's solitary and newest console...
They have a strong foothold, but not a stranglehold.
And what about kinect? The move? And if we are talking portables, the vitas mandatory memory cards that cost the same as a cpp for the smallest one? (Sony is essentially selling an unfinished system that requires outside memory to run most games.)
The cpp isn't a patch. It is an optional peripheral like the above mentioned.( except the psv mem, which is not optional.)
Of course. Unlike the above, there aren't games that you can't play without it.
You have gyro, a touch screen, and if you want it the cpp.
A built in stick isn't necessary, and an updated 3ds with one won't happen unless the adoption and usage rates of gamers and devs is high enough to warrant it.
Right now, it is not.
It would disturb me if I found it to be realistic. But Right now, this kind of revision just doesn't appear likely or logical.
@darth
The fact that it is so obscure (Intentionally: Nintendo seems to be actively downplaying it.) seemst topoints to a revision with a built in second stick being unlikely.
After all, why increase the cost of manufacturing including an under used optional feature no one needs?
Such a revision won't be a realistic option until the CPP gains wide acceptence and usage from consumers and devs alike, thus proving it absolutely neccesary.
With the ds, the second revision came 2 years after.
It was about the Same amount of time for the dsi after.
Only the dsi to dsixl was a single year.
The article is saying why there won't be a revision announced soon, and to be honest, I don't see a revision happening for at least a year.
Nintendo has always said, even before launch, that there could be games made without 3d, so I don't see how continuing to say that suddenly points to a revision with toned down 3d.
I'm sure he is good with numbers and data. ( at least, I hope he is.... >.<;)
But market and trend predictions? Nope.
