The CPU is clocked differently, making it slightly more complicated(for now) to work with. Otherwise it is a decent CPU. This has also been confirmed.
And that Sony had the best games is highly subjective. I have all 3 consoles. Guess which one I play the least? PS3. Love the Wii. Have enjoyed the Xbox and still have a couple of multiplatform gamed on it I'm playing. But the ps3? Valkariya chronicles and dark souls. That's pretty much it.
(Of course, I play on...
Skipped most of that gibberish. The horsepower has been CONFIRMED by the revealed specs. We don't know the full extent, but we know enough to say it is quite above current gen.
The gpu, CPU, and ram information provided outpace current gen by a factor of at least 2-4, depending on which aspect you focus on.
Not that this means anything. Good games don't need bleeding edge tech to be great, otherwise all last gen games would turn to immediate crap the ...
Nearly all devs have come out and said how easy Xbox to wiiu porting is. And getting the gameplay running literally takes one to two lines of code.
For example; Ubisoft has the largest 3rd party lineup of all 3rd parties at launch, including original and ported content. DESPITE this, they are spending(if I recall correctly) less than half a million dollars on wiiu development((please search this to confirm@.@)
I think 3rd parties are locked In at the moment,...
Sony has the fewest games overall on the PS3... that doesn't scream "3rd party friendly".
They also scared away monster Hunter with their anti partner policies toward capcom, that doesn't sound "3rd party friendly".
The PS3 was PURPOSELY. made difficult to make games for, with Sony saying 3rd parties would just have to deal with it. That's not 3rd party friendly.
They couldn't even get Activision to make a ...
The only beneficial aspect of doing this that I can imagine is for families that share these consoles with one another. Otherwise, if you have both and want to play at home or on the go... buy the 10~20$ cheaper Vita version. Unless you can give the ps3 disk away to a friend... who would still have to pay $10 for the online pass(Much better than full retail, so that would be cool)
The most I would imagine them to have said is to expect more games to be cross buy compatible. They have never, to my recollection, said that ANY specific 3rd party game would support this in the near future and they HAVE said that not all games will.
Sony will most likely allow 3rd parties to decide how to approach this potential feature, so that some games won't have crossbuy should be expected.
Could the portable 3ds one have something to do with this perhaps?
Suspicious... suspicious indeed...
They just don't want to(put the work in) it seems.
But I could have sworn that local MP was confirmed utilizing the gamepad as a second players screen... guess I was mistaken.
But that's just it: it has always been impossible to please everyone^.^;;
And I believe I have come across a few people that have said the things pop is talking about too. It really does seem that there are some people just looking for "negatives" in order to justify a pre decided disdain for something they will never (let themselves) like.
Really?
I don't think so... it is the sane game, from what I've heard. They have the same name after all.
I'll take your word for it for now, but I'm gonna look it up.
Edit: a better link(yes, it is)

Looks like you're right... although what pisses me off Is the localization discrepancy mentioned in ...
I want to know more about that too...
But I don't think Nintendo has anything to do with that.
Iwata had cited production limitations over overwhelming demand as the chief reason for potential product bottleneck-ing.
That we are hearing this after he made this statement seems to imply they are having problems with production speed... regardless of whatever the actual demand actually is.
Ni no kuni is a DS port dude.
EDIT this is in case anyone doubts this:

It all has to do with desire to utilize the system... for whatever reason SE decided not to vastly upgrade the appearance.
The added Gamepad support probably has something to do with that.
It says right there; revamped combat system. As far as I remember, the design and shallow nature, the two things being addressed here were the main problems.
Better ai
better combat engine
more weapons and spells
enemies DON'T cower

Just to be clear; I knew this game would suck since the day it was announced. But only recently have I ...
Nintendo is actively helping them and is acting as publisher.
The only counter point I could manage(Playing devils advocate here) is that these are all different websites and/or weekly and monthly updates. To the websites themselves these are just singular local posts, even though they add up here.(on n4g)
And The people posting them here are most likely trying to up their status here on n4g so they can approve stories... resulting in constant non-new "news".
...
How is this news?

@gribble
And all of these stories could accompany a slowpoke meme image.
I would post one here, buts I don't knows how...>.>;;;
@darkrider
That was posted to n4g, so he probably already saw it.
And remember; in that very investor briefing, Nintendo said the 3ds is under performing in America and Europe. Despite this, it is crushing the Vita, which Sony(a company struggling with its finances) has said and continues to say is "Meeting" expectations.
Meaning A) Sony is full of crap or B) they completely expected it to sell this low...
@mdk
No, he is saying that the ps3 and 360 "couldn't" run games like Assassins creed 3 or Mass Effect 3 *At Launch*.
