Take as much time as you need, boys. The first Dead Space was excellent (if not a couple levels too long IMO) and I look forward to the next one.
Wish I could say the same for the next Resident Evil. :(
Here's how the ESRB describes the content for Halo 3: ODST
This is a first-person shooter in which players engage in futuristic battles against invading aliens. Players use pistols, sniper rifles, machine guns, and rocket launchers to shoot and kill enemies during the constant and fast-paced battle. Firefights are highlighted by camera effects (e.g., blurring and screen shakes) and realistic sound effects, including screams of pain, gunfire, and explosions. Puffs of blood are e...
We're talking about videogames here. None of us are cool. Deal with it. You'll feel better about yourself.
Rock Band introduced my nephew to drumming. Since then, he bought his own kit and is playing drums and percussion in school. Not all kids who play music games never learn to play real instruments. Most don't, but some do.
Good for the people who pre-ordered (I guess), but I decided a while back that I just had too much "Special Edition" crap in my house.
A free patch that allows you to walk and shoot at the same time.
C'mon, you know someone had to say it...
I thought the demo was alright, but nothing that blew me away. I wasn't planning on buying the game right away until I heard about the Canadian $38.83 release price. Then it was a no-brainer. And I'm glad I picked it up - it's a really fun game.
If they were spending their time tweaking the game between now and then, they should take as much time as they need. But yeah, if the game is finished and they're just sitting on it until the right moment (especially now that '09 isn't really croweded anymore), then that's kinda stupid.
I didn't have as big of a problem with the ending of Indigo Prophecy like some people did. Sure it got pretty ridiculous by the end, but the rest of the game is solid enough that the end doesn't single-handedly destroy the game. Just my opinion.
I'm about half-way thru and the only glitchy graphics I've seen are after a skirmish with a goon and a pipe, and the pipe is "under the floor" with a little bit popping out of the floor. But that's being REALLY nit-picky. I'm loving this game so far. Action, stealth, mini-puzzles...it's really tough to put down.
Alright, I'll give ya that one. That was pretty funny. :)
I don't care about the achievements so much as I care about the fact that since the game has been updated with them, it means the DLC might not be too far away.
Fort Garry all the way, baby.
I thought the demo was ok, but it didn't blow me away. But for $40, I'm getting this game on release day for sure.
They should really have more incentives like this for games. For years now retailers have had deals for DVDs where the release day purchase is about $10 less than normal pricing.
My friend picked up one of these XBL lightsabers. I wouldn't necessarily call him a douchebag, he's just a big Star Wars nerd.
I am, however, very happy that in the last couple years, the term "douchebag" has found its way back into popular lexicon. Douchebag, how I've missed you.
Bring on the new DLC!!
Indeed.
Wait, what?
Even though I would call O:A the "worst" of the DLC, that's not to say I think it's bad. More Fallout is always good in my books, it's just that the other ones were so much better. And that gauss rifle you get at the end of O:A is awesome.
Very linear. No real exploration.
If I had to rate the DLCs from best to worst, it'd look like this:
1. Broken Steel
2. Point Lookout
3. The Pitt
4. Mothership Zeta
5. Operation: Anchorage
They should release a Fan Service version, and patch in moving and shooting at the same time.
