If sex = rave reviews, DOA Xtreme 2 would've scored better.
I've heard the Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot DLC is supposed to be pretty bad. The Zombie Island DLC is alot of fun, though.
Man, what's with all this BS about 360 and PC? If you can play it on a console or on the PC, then you should be happy and be celebrating that fact. Congrats to Bioware for making another fantastic game for us to enjoy.
No surprises here. And I'm happy to drop MS points for more Mass Effect. I've spent far more on much less.
I was an Adept in ME1 and I was a great shot (along with being good with biotics), don't know what the writer is talking about. For ME2, it'll be a toss-up between Adept and Vanguard.
Being able to reprogram the buttons is cool, even though most games get the button configuration bang-on. This might be something I'll be suckered into getting...
Well said, Darth. Have a bubble on me, good sir.
Let's get an interview with the female Shepard!!
I'd say the last hour or so of ME1 is some of the best gaming I've ever had. The story picks up for the last act and goes barrelling towards the ending. Just awesome.
Wow, my plate became a little less full and I'm pretty ok with it. Now I won't feel rushed playing Mass Effect 2 and I can take a decent stab at AVP. I'm a happy camper.
Truth, I'll have to disagree with you on the replayability factor of games. As much fun as online is for me, there's nothing like a good solid single-player campaign to make me happy. And hell, if it's good enough, I'll play the campaign more than once. I think I played Mass Effect about 4 times, f'rinstance.
My lack of interest in 2010's PS3 exclusive line-up (apart from Heavy Rain and maybe God of War 3) has nothing to do with replayability. It's just that racing games and JR...
I'm not terribly interested in playing this game anytime soon (way too many other games to play), but enough positive buzz may make me change my mind.
True, the regular Mass Effect 2 box art is just gross. But the Collector's Edition is pretty sexy.
The US box art reminds me of all the lousy movie posters that have come out in the last handful of years. Rather than create something artful that compliments the movie, it usually boils down to "Let's smack together an ugly collage of all the bankable stars! THAT'll get asses in the seats!"
The European box art is gorgeous, in my opinion.
I forgot how addictive the gameplay in the Assassin's Creed franchise is. It's got that "just one more" appeal to it that I'm a sucker for. I'm currently having a great time playing thru the second one.
I'm not really sure why I don't care about Bioshock 2, but I agree with the points ape007 made about different developers and sameness. I really loved the first one, but I'm just not excited about this new one. The multiplayer looks goofy as hell. And I've already got three games I'll be picking up in the next two months.
Maybe once the summer hits, I'll pick it up cheap.
Sheesh. Not if Microsoft has anything to say about it.
That being said, I'll buy any and all DLC for Dragon Age, price points be damned. Great game.
Man, it's going to be a loooooonnnnngg year of having to sift thru stupid "articles" like this one.
One of the dudes on Bioware's website has said there are no plans to release physical copies of the soundtrack. Digital downloads only. Too bad. Looks like I'll have to get it off iTunes.
I'm happy to see Zune Marketplace show up in Canada. I downloaded a bunch of "Fringe" episodes the other day that I missed when they first aired on TV. Good times.
