Eidos can take as long as they need, just put out another quality Batman game.
What, no bush? COME ON!
I didn't realize this was happening so soon. Good stuff!
I agree with this article to the extent that it's wrong that people in the entertainment industry feel the need to somehow "legitimize" videogames by making them into movies, as if making something into a movie is the be all, end all.
I think what it ultimately comes down to in the movie business is brand recognition. It's easier to make a movie out of an existing game franchise with a healthy fanbase than to create a new story for a film. And this just shows how lazy...
Thanks Unicron. I had heard there were disagreements over use of villains, but didn't know exactly what they were. I learned something today, on N4G, of all places! :P
This game makes me jealous I don't own a PS3.
I hope David Cage and the rest of the Quantic Dream team receive critial AND financial success with this game. It looks as though they've earned it.
In related news, "The Lost Boys" owns hard.
"You're eating maggots, Michael. How do they taste?"
I'm glad to see the game is getting positive reviews. Now here's hoping it sells really well - games as different and as refreshing as this deserve to be rewarded.
Ugh, another one of these "articles." Demand more from your gaming "journalism", people.
This is actually pretty helpful.
It's pretty light on the RPG elements, as far as RPGs go. It definitely feels more like a TPS with RPG elements, not the other way around.
It'll be interesting to see the numbers after the weekend sales (and y'know, after it's actually been out for a full week).
Good lord, these guys are insane. So many huge games coming out from Bioware. I'd like to see them release a big ME2 expansion (like what Dragon Age is getting) by the end of the year, too.
The only Avatar stuff I would even consider buying would be Aliens-related stuff, like a full-on Alien costume, a mothereffing chestburster popping out of your Avatar's chest or a goddamn facehugger jumping out of an egg and attaching itself to your Avatar's face.
Seriously, let's get some R-rated content in there.
Love the avatar, man. "Somebody wake up Hicks!" :P
Well, gee whiz, that sounds just fantastic. Uhm...sign me up?
Ok, I'm confused...can I still play the Arcade games I've already bought and just play them from the dashboard for free? If that's the case, then I'm just going to do that.
Besides, having my Avatar walk around in a virtual game room is kinda lame.
@ StanLee, fair enough. I'll leave a potential PS3 release out of the equation. If Bioware releases enough DLC through the year, or even a full-on expansion like the one Dragon Age will be getting, that could be enough to remind people come the end of the year.
Think about it: January release, a few DLCs released between now and the summer, and then a big expansion for September (and then the unavoidable "GOTY" edition which will include everything).
It...
Damn, I thought it said "Megatron" news. Oh well...
