Those are all first party titles listed, I'm sure 3rd parties will want to charge more, it will probably depend on the game.

What I see is $39.99 for Sony published titles, $29-49.99 for third party titles. I'm sure Activision will charge $50 for CoD.

@Washington-Capitals

I don't think everyone 'played it safe' Microsoft showed everything they had I'm pretty sure.

They used Forza And gears last year though at E3. Why is it ok to to delay games so they can reuse them at the show for another year.

When the company chooses to not talk about the hardware, it can be because they have nothing impressive to show.

Your views were a lot like mine, except when I heard about Bing, I was expecting an internet browser. Having it search whatever's on Xbox live and youtube seemed like quite limited results for a search engine. It's like a better/more efficient way to shop(when buying through MS); which really isn't that necessary. It is almost strange that they won't include an internet browser, when they make IE themselves - and the reason is quite obvious: to not interfere with the PC mar...

Seems like MS chose Tomb Raider, just to try to keep it's base from leaving to Sony. It was like saying, see we have a quality action/adventure too - don't go to PS3. You have to admit Uncharted is Sony's best trump card.

Yea that is a fair assumption, Gamescom is in Europe, and Adrift is being made by a French developer. Quantic Dream is also a french developer. We might see Last guardian at TGS.

It probably fell into Sony's lap out of Microsoft's reluctance to support MMOs. I'm willing to bet the numbers weren't pretty about the amount of FFXI members that actually paid for gold on top of their sub I Know I didn't. The game was originally PS3/360 with no PC version.

That is pretty cool, I've always seen the future of gaming as a massive web of interconnected MMO and more casual games, all tied to one another.

they really held back last year, remember KZ3, Motorstorm 3, and infamous 2 all being preshown before E3. It's just not a good strategy to have your game announced amongst the flurry of other gaming news - on top of that it takes a lot of time out of development to have something 'ready' for E3. Their other stuff will be announced later maybe at PAX, maybe at TGS, they seem to balance it throughout the year.

Supposedly it's free to play, where you pay to get the 'full experience.' It's interesting that some dudes' 'life' is getting effected or ruined based on your success in the game.

That PlayStation TV came out of nowhere, you have to admit, no one was expecting that.

Co Op? Otherwise I wasn't too impressed, however it might be something else to watch Insomniac attempt to home their Ratchet humor to a more mature audience.

all he did was open and close his arms to take the gun apart, It's not like you can grab the pieces and rotate them individually.

Is that enough stake to keep Sony from partnering with Nvidia on their next console?

Just have to wonder how much MS paid to keep StarWars Lightsabers off of the Move. We get this instead?

QA people usually suggest making things more appropriate for social norms. I don't think it's really Epic so much at fault - they're trying to make a game that appeals to a broad audience as possible. And that includes people who are turned off by perceived inaccuracies of how a character should/would act.

"Sony is in a mess. 2011, so far." They're only in a mess if you have some unjust reason to want them to be. You have to give both sides of the story if you want to be a respectable journalist.

"So it’s kind of obvious that Sony have to have a stellar E3 conference this year so that they can win back the confidence of their fans and followers."
He must feel good that he's 'laying one into' Sony. Basically he saying: "Based on ...

There are people on this site that would harass others if they are given the opportunity to speak multiple times. Perhaps losing bubbles could be restricted to more extreme measures.

I see the use in moderation, so I would suggest having another system that filters out low-quality posters, but is entirely optional instead of mandatory.
