Well, EA Access is on Xbox and it has a normal and premium version on PC. The PC versions were 7-8% for each and the Xbox version was 15% - that's still only 29-30% of the market share. According to recent 'stats' which were floating around the internet, Xbox EA access, PC standard and premium EA Access, AND Gamepass = 47% market share. PSNow is 53% market share. That's not just monetary value, that's based on the number of users as well, so the fact it's a higher pric...
No. Saves are locked to your account - so if your account goes, you can no longer use those saves on your games, physical or digital. Well, unless you have something like the PS4 Save Wizard, a save editing software. That can unofficially resign your saves one by one. But officially, you can't use those saves anymore
To those people trying to spin this into a 'digital vs physical' event (which it isn't) - you do know what happens if you break an NDA with Microsoft, Nintendo or PlayStation don't you? Your account is banned - this means all games, saves, services, and in-game purchases are lost. You'll have your physical games but say bye to all your saves and DLC.
Breaking an NDA is nothing to do with digital or who it was.
H1Z1 is better than PUBG. Matches are faster, it’s a higher framerate and more stable.
You won’t see Red dead for two reason. 1. Sony is the marketing for the game. 2. Rockstar like money and can sell their product in stores. The majority of Gamepass and PSNow titles are games which don’t really sell that many copies anymore - bar releases Xbox paid to have day one
@darthv72
All PS4 and ps2 games are downloadable. They have been since September. Sony also added 50 PS4 games to the service a few days ago bringing the number of PS4 games up to 275 and overall over 700 games to play on the service.
The recent additions on PSNow (which has free online multiplayer as you don’t have to pay for Plus) include mafia 3, steep, For Honor, The Spectrum Retreat and more.
I’ve noticed hardly anyone even reported on the fact Sony added 50 PS4 games Tom he played PSNow line up this week. That’s now over 270 downloadable PS4 games and over 700 games you can stream. That’s not bad for a rental service
IVe just picked up Far Cry 5 today - as I got it with the SP for £30. I saw the trailer for ghe new one but it didn’t annoy or upset me. I’ll stillbhave fun playing the game.
I’m not going to complain just because it may have let slip what happens at the end of FC5. I’m sure there’s a lot which will happen within the game that I don’t know about.
"That on top of Gamefly" - Gamefly do a rental service in America. I use Boomerang in the UK
"and to a lesser extent PlayStation Now... Someone isn't aware that PSNow currently has 53% of the rental service market. EA access and Gamepass were 15% each and the two PC versions of EA Access made up the rest.
IT's just that those using PSNow are as vocal about it as the MS side are. Either way, They are all great services and I don't see any issues with them. I prefer digital over physical so I'm not too bothered about a future like this, but I ca...
We need more songs in Rockband - not seen any over here in the UK for a while
I like the fact 4 has a story to it as it gives the game more of a purpose as you work your way through it. However, the story isn't the greatest and it's quite long - borderline a mini visual novel with various song/dancing segments.
The two new ones basically get you into the action faster but you've basically heard all 25/26 songs within around 1.5-2 hours. The draw is that the songs are enjoyable to play along to and it's a fun game to just pick up and i...
Yeah, I'm the owner of the site but I'm reviewing the game for a different site, so my colleague did this review. I'm loving it so far. It's like the Persistence but with bow and arrows and minus the story. Fun for a drop-in, drop-out session here and there.
Unlike my colleague though, I prefer the Move Controllers over the DS4.I've seen people ask for Aim Controller support on Twitter as well.
money
Isn't Grasshopper Suda 51? The guy who has put out way more Sony games than Xbox. I doubt they would even consider losing their creative freedom over a bit of cash. None of their recent games have even hit the Xbox
I really enjoyed it - we gave it an 8.5/10 on the PS4. It's harder than previous games due to it adopting the 'dark souls-like' combat, so it's slower and more precise with more weight and thought behind it, rather than heading in and bashing all the buttons and hoping for the best!
The frame drops were apparent, but only in a few areas on my play-through. Upon completing it, it's started taking longer to load in new areas, which is strange but also some...
I feel this site/article shouldn't have been approved - all it has is a list of commission-based links to the items on Amazon with no prices unless you click - meaning they implant a 30 day commission cookie on your PC for ANYTHING you buy on Amazon for a month.
If it had listed the items with their sale price then fair enough, but the site is basically click-baiting people to get commission.
"the same cannot be said about the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions, especially on Sony’s machine." - Gaming Bolt showing their Xbox bias once again by shoving that in there. They didn't perform any factual tests, all they did was play the three versions in different areas and make a judgement based on their own opinion. No frametime graphs, no framerate analysis', no in-depth graphical comparisons - nothing.
Fact is, both consoles perform almost identical ...
I would agree, but the PS4 sales have been up year on year. It’s not even started to decline in sales yet. Once the ps5 is announced I imagine they will take a hit. Especially if full Bc is confirmed with PS4 titles.
But I can’t see Nintendo selling more units unless they have a product which is exclusive and appealing to a lot of non-switch owners
I doubt I doubt the X had that much of an impact tbh. The Xbox sales up until the third week in November last year was still lower than it was in 2016. If anything, you would expect a year of X sales would have at least made some kind of yearly profit over last year. I suspect when all the sale items are taken into account next month, both systems should show a more positive change
