No... Why is it a 'killer app'? What's different between the Xbox one X version and the PS4, Xbox One S and Pro version other than the bump in resolution? Nothing. The game is identical with no texture difference, no graphical improvements, no extra gameplay options or new mechanics. It's purely a resolution bump...

If that was the case then every game that hit the Pro with enhancements before the X came out would have been classed as the PS4 Pro's '...

We got the ultimate edition from Rockstar on Friday - I've put in a decent amount of time but it's not a 10/10 from us so far. I mentioned before the game came out that we won't be following the hype train and instantly giving it a 10 because of pressure and the name unless it deserved it and that thread received quite a few moaners who didn't understand.

The problem is, there is a large number of people on here and the internet in general who think their o...

Dynamic is totally different. Dynamic means the native resolution scales higher or lower to allow for more action on the screen. It's nothing to do with CB techniques. The Xbox one X also has about the same number of dynamic resolution titles in its library as well - a lot of the ones they tout as '4k' are actually dynamic and not the full 2160p - like Assassins Creed, COD, BF1 and more.

And the average consumer won't care if it's 4k or not - most people probably don't even know what 4k is as the vast majority of people still own a 1080p TV.

Sure, the game isn't a native 2160p resolution, but is the marketing and wording wrong? Technically no. The game has the temporal injection or CB rendering which ensures an image which is output is the full 2160p image - it's just reconstructed of a lower native resolution. If you have your Pro set ...

Not only cross-buy - it's a double platinum based on PSNProfiles

Right... but they said no need to buy ‘an xbox’ not no need to pay MS (as it’s the MS gaming division that gets the revenue, not Xbox). So technically he’s right. There isn’t a reason, for them, to buy the plastic device to play these games.

@mark_parch

Won’t happen unless they remake them with a controller UI. They won’t release games that you can only play with a certain setup. The settlers have an anniversary collection coming very soon so Ubi May be planning something, but it’s doubtful it will have M+K support. PS4 has supported it from day one and only a handful of devs use it

Already available via ps now. It seems MS is pushing this and will most likely bundle their streaming service for 360 games in it next year in order to compete with PSNow in that aspect.

Didn't realise that this was out on non-VR devices. I played it on PSVR on release and it's pretty good - simple, but a decent enough static shooter. Can't imagine it being that good in non-VR though as these games need VR

I imagine if there are new movies coming out - I personally don't follow them as I'm an adult now and don't watch them anymore - then maybe they've kept the path open for DLC? Or maybe they only managed to obtain the rights for certain franchises within the IPs? Who knows? All I know is our reviewer enjoyed playing it with his family. The score any game gets is always based on the reviewers thoughts and will always be different depending on the person. If everyone just focuses...

@Joshua13 - the guy likes to comment on our reviews and point out that their opinions don't match the same as other peoples. So him saying "he's done" is great - it might lead to less "this can't be right because it's not what I also think" posts on our submission - that's all :)

All franchises/series' which aren't currently active. The game is made for children, children who are currently watching the shows being made/advertised on the Nick Toons website. If it was a game aimed at 20-30 yr old people then yeah, I agree, they missed a lot out. However, will kids of today know any of the shows you stated above?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions though. Our reviewer grew up in the early 90's with those franchises and his kid watch...

They say Platform exclusive though in the summary above. A summary that hasn't changed or been edited since uploading it. By that, I imagine they are saying the PlayStation platform. As in, you can't get persona 5 or Resogun outside of a PlayStation officially.

TBH, if I could go back, I'd probably drop The Walker to around a 7 as I did enjoy playing it but I've clearly played more structured and engaging games since. There are a number of games I would probably re-score if I was able too, I might do an article on it at the end of the year and re-rate a few of the games which I either grew fonder of or stopped playing after review.

Regarding this one though, yeah, I never played the first one but I gather the story and sl...

It's been out over 2 months, hasn't it? Surely people know by now that the majority of games will be involved in some kind of sale after a few months - especially on the run up to Christmas where we start seeing sales thrown all over the place.

*edit* just seen the deluxe version with all the DLC is almost 50% off. That is pretty steep. The 35% off the base game, fine - we had that on PSN last week, but 48% off the one with all future content - that might be a bit ...

I'm a wuss at horror games - I forced myself to play the first three exorcist VR games for review and I have the other 2 waiting here for me along with observer and a few others I've heard are a little creepy. However, I played until dawn on release and it didn't scare me one bit. I'm not sure why people list it in 'Top X scary game' lists.

I don't recall jumping once within the game as it was just a teenage horror flix but in a game format. I d...

Loved playing this on release. This and, surprisingly, the 50 cent game which was basically a re-skin of this game. I re-bought this on PS3 but it's one of the few games that came out before trophies and never had them implemented.

jerethdagryphon - no, I know. I am though. If you have to wipe your ps vita, then boot it up and pause it before it connects to the internet so you can put in the details of your main account and sync up another profiles trophies as your own - whilst leaving it on as it will go away if the ps goes into the lock screen or turns off - then I would say that is fiddling in order to get trophies.

I know he probably won't, but him explaining the glitch/hack he uses means that...

The trophy hunters love this developer - 15-30 minute platinum which you can basically get up to 4 times legitimately and six times if you use the vita exploit he does to sync trophies from another region on his main vita account.

I don't mind but these games now have a stigma of being crap and only good for an easy platinum, when in reality they are actually fun little games that you could easily sink hours into - yet most people won't even look at them.
