any link to that info? When looking online in the info on how to test your own apps on the MS website, it says you have to have Visual Studio running on a pc on the same network, then you have to link the Xbox to your software - then you deploy from the software to the Xbox over the network. It never mentioned about being able to actually publish a contained application which you can simply install on any dev enabled Xbox - otherwise, wouldn't more dodgy apps like this already be out in t...
yeah, I don't see this ever releasing - nice way to get a bunch of new patreon supporters and more money for creating illegal programs though. To create a UWP app, the developer has to create it then submit it to MS for approval (which it won't get).
Plus, looking online at how to actually use dev mode, you have to run the source code from Visual Studio on a PC and push it through to your Xbox (so the PC will need to be on at the same time). May be different but doe...
I edited it about 5 mins after because I returned to the site and saw the final paragraph where it sounds like this was put up post-issue and not before. I still believe people would have paid and I don't see an issue with the item as it's a collectable thing - people have paid much more for less - so again, I don't see the issue. Although considering I@ve got a lot of downvotes - it seems people on N4G like to moan about things a lot.
There have been loads of these 'most anticipated Xbox games' articles. I think I've only seen one covering PS4 - and no, it's not because they have nothing coming out as Sony has a bunch of games coming out. Just seems to be the popular thing to declare which of the three or four Xbox/PC games they're looking forward too.
Yeah, I believe they would - actual product info on the main page of the site selling the item:
The packaging of Nuka Dark Rum was a design that was months in the making and we went to great lengths to ensure that no corners were cut. It cost over 2X what it would have if we would have simply cast a glass mold. We went through many prototypes. In fact, in all, we had four different iterations of the design, two of which were glass exteriors. We determined that a glass bottl...
"Bethesda's $80 Special Edition Rum Bottles Are Made Of Plastic"... "fans paid 80 dollars for a simple glass bottle shelled in cheap plastic cover."
So, they got it in a glass bottle but in a stylised plastic outer cover - where's the issue? It's a collectable item - you pay for the cosmetic charm and appeal of having an item you like the look of. The Pip-Boys were also expensive and they were just made out of plastic and required you to use ...
"Even though it hasn't been announced yet, it seems like a foregone conclusion that Microsoft Studios will release another Forza game" - no it's not. they've already said no Forza game is coming this year as they are going to expand on F7 instead and continue putting out content for that one instead.
The others - sure, they'll be MS exclusives (as on PC also), unless they decide to either self publish or get 505 games/THQ to publish them on Steam ...
very interesting game - nowhere near as bad as the media make it out to be though.
They got Portal Knights last month - we'll probably get the Division next month
@CorndogBurglar - "Japan is PS4's and Nintendo's biggest selling region" - it's not. The PS4 has sold millions more in Europe and the USA than Japan, it's just that the Xbox, in comparison, sold like crap in Japan
This is probably the new name they have given to the PS4/Vita remake rather than just sticking 'remastered' at the end
I hate this - if critics can't play a game and moan about it until the devs give in and change the mechanics, then they should reconsider their profession. I enjoyed the combat in DS3 and completed it pre-launch for review purposes. Vampyr did the same because people cried over that game's combat as well
As the other person said - you only own the IP whilst it's registered. If they let it slip then others could technically grab the IP and do something with it. That's why I don't think people should read too much into this yet
They can though. Didn't the article link to the video they put on YT? Saves are uploaded to the cloud if done via any other platform - thy then carry over into these episodes.
Probably won't account to anything. They had to renew it to be allowed to still sell the 360 version. That's all - people are presuming this means a new game...
That’s the point of the article. They want a better one to buy so people aren’t illegally putting their own Roms and disc images on a home-made system
Brilliant game. Highly recommend. Coming to switch and EU PS4 in Jan.
Tbh, terrible review. Moaning about how ‘bad’ the original game is yet you state you never even played it. Then saying you played this game for 5 minutes. If the game is broke then yeah, it needs to get fixed, but producing a click bait article won’t make that happen now, will it?
Whereas I agree with doing this for the Xbox - because it’s really slow in updating and you can’t play your games until the patches have downloaded. I disagree with it for PlayStation. The PS4 updated are usually 250-400mb in size and you can play the games whilst updates download in the background.
You know how I know this article was written by an Xbox 'fanboy'? Because of this sentence: "Nevertheless, some Sony fanboys do not want a PlayStation 5 released anytime soon because the lead the PS4 has over the Xbox One moisturizes their ego"
Also, if a person was a 'Sony fanboy' then surely they will have had a PS4 since around launch? What have they been doing for the last five years? Playing on an Xbox One? Don't be silly. 'Fanboys'...
