That's why it's now coming out a month before Starfield - I'm sure there's plenty of time to play the main story before SF releases...
"Lisette Titre-Montgomery noted that Sony spent 220 million over six years to make The Last of Us Part 2 before they saw a single penny in return, claiming that "game teams this size for this long are Not. Sustainable.""
How is it not sustainable? Did both of these games flop? Did they fail to at least break even? No, they both smashed the costs and made a nice profit for Sony which will be increased even more once they inevitably get ported to PC for a ...
Not a biased article from a MS-paid employee and site at all...
For £50 more you can get a digital PS5. That's the 'best value'
Why? How will knowing how much a game cost to make benefit you at all?
Here's a better suggestion - how about all reviewers keep their trophies and achievements public, disclose how much of a game they've played before reviewing it, and how long they spent playing it.
As a gamer, that info is much more important than knowing how much a game cost to make.
Yeah, my bad. I forgot there was a 'x' variant of the 850. I do believe the p is faster though, and it comes in 4tb - which I don't think the X did, I can't remember.
I'm sorry, the 'x' M.2 is no where near as good as either the 850 or the new P version.
Xbox cards run at around 2GB/s, the 850 is around 7GB and the new P is 7.3GB
Also, there's a massive difference - the Xbox ones are literally for Xbox use only due to their small physical size and cute mini heatsink design. The others are all full sized M.2 drives you can use in a PC or the PS5.
Why don't they 'have the right'? Is it because the OP wants to pick up the game cheap via second-hand or in a sale, meaning the dev and publisher get little to no profit out of it?
"By going 3rd party, MS can get their game pass service on other platforms now without incident." - If you think the only reason they can't get GP on other competing platforms is because of the CMA apposing the cloud aspect, then you're very ignorant and clueless.
Sony and Nintendo will NEVER allow Game Pass on their devices as it means you'll be paying 100% to MS to bypass buying 3rd party games on their stores - potentially losing out on hundreds of ...
"Wheres a dedicated direct for any other playstation games" - where have you been for the last three years? Sony puts on dedicated State of Play showcases a month or so before the game releases, followed by multiple dedicated articles, lots of promotion via Twitter and YouTube, and usually in-person events in various capital cities around the world.
That's where Sony's "dedicated directs" are - when the date is locked in and the time to build hyp...
That's how psvr 2 works, sadly.
With the headset on, any cinema mode stuff - like playing flat games or browsing the dashboard - only outputs the audio through headphones.
But, if you're playing a VR game then the audio comes through both the headphones and the TV
Not sure why they did this.
Game Pass, it'll be all 3rd Party Game Pass games in a 90min advert.
Don't expect Hellblade this year. The trailer had small print at the beginning saying 'some' of the games shown are coming soon - it was put in there on purpose but not to advertise it's out this year.
Do you know how marketing deals work? RE Village was marketed by Sony so one clause was no GP for 12 months. After that, they were free to do whatever.
Name one Xbox marketed game that hit PS Now/Pus within the first 12 months...
I don't get the outrage regarding certain titles (like Spider-Man) - it's been in this service for a year and out to buy for about 2 or 3 years - if you wanted to play it, you've had plenty of time. It's not even like you had to get a PS5 to play it.
The majority of those moaning have no interest in playing it, as they don't own a PS, or they've already played it so it doesn't actually affect them.
This month does have a lot of...
No... Plus has been out about a year and a few games have gone each month. PS Now has been out for about 7 or 8 years (which is what Plus used to be). So I wouldn't say it's too 'early', they are just starting to do bigger rotations as they have around 800 games in the service, I doubt they want over 1000 in there
They don't need to sign any of MS's shady 'deals' (they were bad based on the redacted documents anyway, looking to charge a license fee on top of the usual revenue split). MS has told all the regulators that they won't stop putting the game on PS, if they go back on that promise (which was said to approve this merger) then they'll be sued, forced to sell ABK, and won't be approved for any further big purchases
Context, Sony doesn't own 98%, it's mainly mobile and Switch. She's talking about PS Vs Xbox, so misleading but pushing it as facts.
Also, she supposedly has received a lot of money from MS towards her campaigns in the past, I think it was half a million dollars from what I saw on Twitter.
So yeah, I'd say they're biased
Some of those things are such a stretch!
Also, PS Remote Play lets you stream EVERY game from your PS5 console to your mobile or PC - anywhere in the world. It'll even turn on your console for you so it can operate.
They seem to have confused 'Remote Play' with 'PS Plus on PC'
If this is true, why did they cast Bella as Ellie then - she's about as different looking as you can get. They could have just given her the same hair and it may have been similar, but nope - they made her look as different as they could from the source material.
I'm wondering if they'll drop a free DLC when the PC version launches, changing the models to match the cosplay TV show
Anyone remember that West World mobile game? Bethesda sued WB Games because it shared a lot of the same mechanics and looked the same. They settled out of court (I think), but it showed that Bethesda doesn't like people copying them...
Last year, Square Enix released the Tomb Raider Reloaded mobile game - a fun and original (at the time) rogue-like game. A few months later, the Doom mobile game came out and it was almost a carbon copy of the Tomb Raider game. It has ide...
