For a sealife sim, look out for Beyond Blue: https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Coming soon on all platforms. It's developed closely with the BBC and their Blue Planet 2 show, so full of realistic and accurate sealife to find and look at.

Article full of "could this" and could that" - basically a lot of speculation about what we 'could' expect, such as weather matching real life (which probably won't happen).

If it's like the previous games, didn't they just use Google Maps and apply an algorithm which detected what was supposed to be mountains and crevices, then the AI simply formed the land based on that - like Google Earth?

I mean, the game is certainl...

True, I was going to flog mine when I got my Wii U about a year after launch and there was no point, they were going for less than the price of a Wii U game.

the only issue these days is if you have bought content on them and then it dies as I don't think you can redownload or simply move it over anymore. But, I doubt very many people even use the console.

Their official response, which seems quite fair as they have to consider all regions when launching the same game in a number of regions:

We are addressing the censorship topic inside the forums!

What we say to the community is that there is only one version of Commandos 2 HD Remaster internationally (and intentionally) and it doesn't incorporate any symbols, portraits, speeches or other assets that could break the law in Germany and other countries a...

It's cheaper to buy a second-hand console than pay for Nintendo to repair the console. Whenever that fact becomes the norm, it's no longer viable for them to repair any units.

Nintendo is quite expensive though, My Joycon generated drift and they wanted £30 to 'repair' their mistake. I could have bought a new pair for £60 or a second hand one for £25

Instead, I just bought two new thumbsticks off eBay for £7 and repaire...

Didn't realise Star Ocean was so low - bought it on release and platinumed it after about 200 hours or so. I enjoyed it but I'd only really played SO 4 briefly before that and none of the previous games. Obv since then I've played others but I still recall it being a fun game.

The Last Remnant you can't really judge based on its score last gen. The PC version and subsequently the PS4 and Switch enhanced remasters are much better. They've sped up the comb...

They seem to like their Anime tie-ins with Arsland, Fairy tale, Berserk and Attack on Titan (all great games). I really enjoy the Pirate Warriors as well, they usually have fun stories with lots of extras to discover.

I'd like them to remaster or make a sequel to a few of their previous titles such as Troy, Fist of the North Star and DW Strikeforce, not to mention the Gundam games which are no longer created.

I've always wanted them to do a Dangan...

The Naughty Dog job listing is from two years ago. They just brought it up to generate clicks by twisting the truth - the truth being that it's a job listing looking for people with experience and it gave examples of what experience would be beneficial. Yet people read into that and come up with their own opinions and twisted reasoning.

Why? A 400-500 dollar box which will (supposedly) play PS1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 games with the optimised ones running at 4k/60 via advanced controllers with programmable resistive triggers. Even IF you have a decent modern i7 or i5 CPU already and only have to spend about 400+ on a new GPU to achieve everything the PS5 supposedly can do, such as Ray Tracing, then it's probably still cheaper to pick up a PS5.

This gen, sure. Buying a PC or upgrading an existing one would have ...

No idea where they're looking but both the NA and UK listing on the PS website just say PS5. If it was there previously, they probably just posted that whilst he page was being finalised - plus we also know it's coming to PC as well, maybe Sony funded it in some way?

This site is really grasping at the 'PS on PC' straws - firs they found a two-year-old job listing and posted it as if it was brand new in order to push the agenda, now this...

The games are all returning to Steam later this week as well.

We never got a copy of the Switch versions but looking at the images on the store, it seems they may be ports of the original versions (not the version with the new graphical option as we saw in the Definitive edition). So, maybe Skybound will release the Definitive Series collection at some point with all the bonus features and touched-up visuals?

I doubt it would ever give you a lag of four seconds - that's beyond lag, that's basically unplayable. Lag of a second is too much, it's usually around half a second lag at most with streaming services. But, you can't generalise it as PS has got it right with their Remote Play - that service works great within your own house as the connection is all through your own router. If you go outside, it's based on your internal upload speeds and external download - which still wor...

There's something strange going on with this article. It's not 'flawless' if you can feel the lag and it disconnects when you walk upstairs. Compare this with the remote play available on the PS4 via mobile, tablet, PC or Vita devices, three's minimal lag to the point you won't notice unless you're really picky, and it doesn't just randomly cut out unless you walk outside of your wifi range.

All I got from the quote you posted is that the dev...

I guess people have started reading into things which aren't there - everyone seems to have forgotten that games are created on PC hardware then optimised to the consoles they're designed for... Having knowledge and experience with using NVIDIA GPUs will be an advantage during the modelling, designing and creation stages of development.

However, all the clickbait site see is "it mentioned hardware in a PC, it's coming to PC!!!!!?!?!?!one!!1". Okay...

I'm guessing they're going to announce all the games on Xbox and/or the Switch. Might be an issue with Beyond and Detroit, as Sony owns the IP (I think), but Heavy Rain could I guess.

What happens in 2022 if the companies decide they want to push 8k further and release an updated console with a smaller design, improved technology, or increased power? Will those who bought the SX purely to play remastered Xbox One games (as that's all they're getting for two years) go out and buy the new console in time for the SX-only games?

Also, if MS stick to what they say and replace the Xbox one S blades in the servers for SX blades, then allow streaming SX...

Genius? Sure, it's a good move for all the casuals on the platform who maybe buy one or two games a year, or who only play the GamePass games (which I imagine is the majority of the [redacted] of people who play on Xbox), but it's not a great look for Xbox as a company.

This means that the next-gen is nothing more than a stepping stone, a non-essential upgrade like the X which offers nothing but a more stable framerate and maybe a few more pixels for the few 'ha...

Articles like this are pointless and stupid. Wouldn't expect anything more from GB though. You can't even comprehend what we may get for $400, Sony will be buying the parts in the millions, thus getting a huge discount on everything they put inside the unit, they won't be paying the retail price for things.

If anything (without reading the article), this is most likely another biased article trying to downplay the unit by making out a low price will mean less of...
