Utter BS that he is comparing ray-tracing to gameplay features. Everyone knows that the S was going to have reduced graphical abilities, which is what ray-tracing is. That was expected.

No one expected gameplay elements or modes to be removed.

Okay, but why lie about it?

The article literally quotes Microsoft internal emails from the whole Activision Blizzard thing that they expect Sony to release the Slim model at $400.

Spencer has got to be the all time greatest at flip flopping.

In this same damn interview, he says that a mid gen version will cause confusion for developers for what to target. This is after he said that the Series S is a great idea.

"Can PlayStation Portal™ Remote Player only be played on my home Wi-Fi network?
While your home Wi-Fi network represents a great option to use PlayStation Portal™ Remote Player because you have control over the quality of your own home Wi-Fi, it is not required. PlayStation Portal™ Remote Player can also be played wherever you have access to broadband internet Wi-Fi with at least 5Mbps for use1. For a better play experience, a high-...

Jury's still out on what? You don't need to be I the same network is a fact. It is right on the official site.

Because it's proprietary... yes, we know. This isn't news.

So your argument is that Phil didn't drop the clause, but instead told them to drop their artistic vision... because it was harming Microsoft sales?

You think that is better? Wow.

876d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yes, quite funny how Phil had a meeting with Larian and then soon after Larian announces that parity is dropped.

And you don't think that came from Phil? Riiiight.

Why are you even talking about ray tracing and FPS? Those are graphical options. Not comparable at all to a gameplay feature.

Yes, that is how "Seasons" work.

The whole big thing about their new system is they specifically said there are no automatic strikes, not even for a mass report. That everything is specifically reviewed by people.

881d ago 3 agree3 disagreeView comment

No, that setup certainly will not rock all modern games.

881d ago 33 agree2 disagreeView comment

Everyone in here arguing that Microsoft needs to do it for the "true gamers" and leave the S casuals behind.

You got no one to blame but yourself for buying the X. Everyone told you this would happen. You believed Spencer again. Stop supporting Xbox. Microsoft sucks at making games.

Why is this marked as news? It isn't news. It is one redditor's conjecture. It mentions "all kinds of bugs", but not a single example is given (it mentions events being missed, which isn't necessarily a bug in a game like this). Person who wrote the post didn't even experience the issue. No proof is given that the "long rest" is causing the problems (again which aren't specifically mentioned), they're just guessing that it is.

Right, Destiny 2 was so bad you only played it 8000 hours.

887d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Headline acts like this game was never coming to Xbox. Not true. It was going to be probably a 1 year exclusive to Sony. Spencer probably gave them the same money to make it 3 months for Microsoft instead.

889d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

I think anyone who continued to support it are crazy. I think absolute silence from the studio is bonkers.

But I also think anyone having expected a substantial content update by now (3 months) are a bit ridiculous.

The article calling him a developer is what is false.

897d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

I didn't say that he was wrong or had no knowledge. But the facts here are wrong.

897d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Care to expound? He has been in journalism and PR most of his life. His LinkedIn mentions zero about being a developer. Am I missing something obvious?

898d ago 5 agree11 disagreeView comment

This guy isn't even a developer, he's just in PR.
