My buddy bought a Series S because it’s the only one he could FIND and was tired of not having a new console over a year after launch. I’m sure he’s not the only one with a kneejerk Series S purchase. PS5 was his first choice fyi but scalpers and lack of availability have been discouraging.
I earned over a million credits in the first 4 days the game was out. It really is an exaggerated issue.
As I’ve said before once the novelty of having a large library of games at your fingertips wears off, it’s not impressive. You run through trying some things you never got to but a majority of the library is quite honestly mediocre. Imagine paying for gamepass all year to have Starfield day 1 because they are releasing literally nothing else in 2022. You just paid $180 for Starfield. The problem here is Microsoft just doesn’t have the games Sony and Nintendo do. If either of them followed the...
Considering MS has only released two exclusives in what will be the first 3 years of this gen (which will mean we will be mindblowingly about half way through this gen by the holidays), I don't see any Xbox fans complaining about the lack of first party games on their subscription service. Exclusives will be on it, just not day 1. Returnal is already announced for the service for example. Which is half of Microsofts output for exclusives on GamePass thus far. Sony will be just fine, as a...
Bad frame rate almost never happens. It’s locked at 60fps except under one weather condition at the start of a race as digital foundry pointed out
I’ll take a wire with better graphics and better hardware specs for the headset itself.
“You are going to see a huge shift towards Xbox for much of the rest of this generation because of things like the Activision and Bethesda acquisition. Having those titles day one on game pass is going to be way bigger than you can even fathom right now. Go ahead and take note of this post so in a year or two you can come back to it and enjoy eating your crow.”
I highly disagree as call of duty will still be on store shelves for PlayStation and many families don’t want to add a...
There is still loyalty to consoles. If a COD fanatic only plays COD for the most part. Paying for it once is preferred to a monthly subscription to things they don’t want. Remember you must maintain that subscription to play COD for “free”. Considering we have all been buying games since the beginning of time, I don’t think this sways many people. Those that prefer one console to the other will still buy that console. Either way this announcement today is a good thing for gamers who want c...
"It's scary to think what we'll see with the graphics improvement and the controls no longer being limited without analog sticks. Everything will be better."
We should get truly next-gen experiences this time around instead of games that feel more like tech demos and stripped back titles. The full fledged controllers could make any game playable in VR now realistically. PSVR was essentially a pilot for PSVR2. I am excited for this release.
PSX games > Fusion Frenzy
Isn't that basically what Xbox gamers are doing, playing old games? You have Halo and Horizon.....other than that....old games.

I was talking about the single player portion of Halo since the multiplayer is free to play.
Last I Checked GT7 was sold at the premium PS5 price
And it’s well worth the premium. It’s a complete game.
Halo is going on 5 months old and still has half-baked multiplayer with MTS. The amount of maps is awful.
you can de-select tracks....
QLED Q90T here, switches to game mode
In the past 4 weeks: Gran Turismo 7, Horizon: Forbidden West, Sifu, Returnal: Ascension, Ghostwire: Tokyo, further reveal of PSVR2, a nice improvement to the UI today, news on VRR coming soon, purchase of bungie/haven studios.
I don’t think a whine fest of microtransactions that don’t need to be purchased for GT7 and a temporarily down PSN (this happens with all services) is a “rough month”.
Gamer75: You. Don’t. Have. To. Pay. For. Anything. To. Get. Anything.
Cloud gaming on any service just isn’t good enough. It’s a showpiece but the lag isn’t great for anything that requires precision
They do get damaged and scratched and dented. There are mechanical issues that occur from impacts. Play the game.
The PSVR on PS4 was limited with FOV, Screen door effect, and move controllers. PSVR2 is a different experience completely. The move controllers I would say were the biggest limiting factor in what could be done with the prior model and what games could be developed for it.
