Possibly Hellblade. Possibly Forza Motorsport 8.
A big reveal for something in 2024 at best? No they don’t need two more years of waiting. They need to simply release what’s already in the pipeline.
As a Series X and PS5 owner, the PS5 to this point has definitely been the superior console from a quality 1st party perspective. To be honest Sony needs big reveals more than Xbox at this point. Microsoft had a crap first 2 years, but everything is lining up for a very nice 2023.
For the record 2 years after launch is November 2022. Redfall and Starfield are now "first half 2023" which can be any point into next JUNE.
If you go year by year for exclusives 2020, 2021, 2022.... Sony has completely dominated the "why should you buy this new console?" question.
2020:
PS5 - Demon's Souls, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Astro's Playroom, Sackboy: A Big Adventure
X|S - Nothing
...
So in 2+ years of this generation:
Forza Horizon 2
Flight Simulator
Halo Infinite (incomplete)
Psychonauts 2 (also on PS)
How can anyone defend this, seriously? This is worse than Xbox One.
So many last gen games
As an owner of both games, GT7 is the better game. Forza scores are inflated because the Xbox literally was starving for exclusives upon its release. They’re completely different games so hard to compare them directly but from a pure racing standpoint GT7 is the better game.
Wrong. They are looking to have a good mix of both. Sony’s formula is the reason they beat Xbox every generation. They simply make must have games.
This shouldn’t even be a thing.
No. DL2 is far better
I think the current version is a pretty limited edition lol
My next purchase.
This doesn't sound fun at all.
I agree, this didn't feel like a new engine to me at all.
Microsoft has released more remote colorways than first party games in the past 2 years
The “only” thing giving PS5 an advantage is their games? Fascinating, coming from a product that is meant to play games. With VRR now enabled I’d argue that there are no hardware advantages over the PS5 for Xbox at this point. My series X has been collecting dust since about February when the same 4 halo maps got stale.
2 years later. Hope it isn't a flop.
You’re paying for online plus other features not just demos….
Or $120 a year….which is….$10 monthly as a breakdown. Seems reasonable to me.
September for the Forge open beta / online co-op “targeted”. This could easily fall into season 3 if there’s hiccups. This game has been a multiplayer failure and it’s a shame because it is the reason I bought a Series X this past August in anticipation that the 1 year delay would be meaningful.
It’s a good thing for Sony that this wasn’t lost to GamePass. This service is off to a promising start next month.
