@InurFoxhole
Lol the game is amazing. You might not like it and that's cool but it's really just incredible.
@TkcMuzzer
You must've missed the part in the show where at the bottom it says the platforms it will launch in.
XSX is not crossgen. Some games yes...like halo and maybe hellblade and couple of others.
But avowed, Fable , state of Decay...all of them are not available for Xbox one x or lower.
They lied about crossgen. Or misled.
Developers will be able to use the SSD but probably not like Sony since many of xbox ga...
Getting my copy real soon. Can't wait. In the meantime there's a few ps now collections I can play.
I'm beginning to get the sense that when they say cinematic they really just mean higher graphical fidelity.
Obviously the frame rate doesn't make the game more cinematic but if they go for graphical fidelity then the frame rate is affected and therefore we get the "cinematic" excuse.
There might be something wrong with you..I'm serious. I've played 60fps on PC for a long long time but 30fps locked with the correct frame pacing is perfectly fine. Not as smooth but fine.
If it actually makes them unplayable you might have some issues with motion sickness. I know someone who can't stand watching the screen when the camera moves around. It's possible there's a health reason for your inability to play at 30fps.
There is nothing wrong with 30fps as long as it's locked at 30 and never dips.
I'm primarily a PC gamer so I've been spoiled to play on 60 fps for a long time but 30fps locked isn't bad.
My problem has always been when they say 30fps but the game can drop lower.
Love the psnow offerings. I'd say it can compete really well. The ones you can download are great. And the streaming service ain't as bad as I expected.
They drop it so consistently that it would make anyone sad
True but Ms loves to be able to play games on any device....sooooo yea
The gameplay looked right. Although not 100% polished.
The grappling hook didn't even look that impressive. It was a fairly slow wind-up.
I wish MS would just turn in to a regular developer and release on all consoles.
It would be cool if you had more gameplay options that use his strength or mobility in interesting ways. And what about destructible environments.
@Grilla
That sounds like a very defeated Ellie with nothing more to love for.
Just because she's immune doesn't mean she needs to sacrifice herself. It would either be a sense of doing the right thing or just do it because her life sucks.
That would be an awful ending to Ellie as it undoes the first game. Which Neil is all about unfortunately. The entire tlou2 is going for a certain goal and then either giving up that goal or something ha...
Yea he will say something along the lines that gamers are so passionate and they have strong emotions etc. That they will never hit every mark but will do better. Etc.
And wait again for the coming months - year.
It was definitely rebound potential but they stopped the ball immediately.
It's never been really a war. It's been competition to see which company gets the most market Sharee and the best games.
In that front it will never be over and PlayStation consistently delivers.
That's just incredible.
Alright well that settles that. No Xbox purchase for me until the end of the next generation.
I can see Phil's excuse article for the lack of gameplay already. Lots of pr to be had soon.
Many leads like to place their own way into something amazing. Many times they end up ruining the franchise like in star wars.
I got the same impression as you. Neil wanted to get rid of Joel and Ellie. Hence why both their actions make little sense.
She's likely replacing Ellie as the protagonist. Ellie's story is finish came to an end but Abby's did not.
When you go to buy a car would you trust user reviews of that car from a different site or not?
I sure as hell would. Same for any product. The mainstream site can give a game crap or praise. But if the user reviews tell a different story then I would most certainly watch out. The user reviews is its own counter argument.
Or did you expect him to write an essay counter arguing the review?
