that's an odd statement. If they made the same exact game it would have done just as well. I'm no huge fan of sucker punch, it's not like they made incredible games recently.
This is their second game all generation. They are not naught dog or santa monica. They are doing so well because the game looked appealing.
That censorship is done by corporations not by demand from actual western gamers.

Except they're not hanging on to past generations. It's an Xbox one game that is also releasing on the Xbox series. Fable and state of Decay 3 are next gen games that will only release on the series x.

If what Niel saying is correct then this game fails at their goal in storytelling.
Ellie never shows in any way that she realized revenge is bad. The game, story and characters do not portray that message in the slightest. The flashbacks don't convey it either. All you see is Ellie telling Abby to leave.
