I agree some games attempt to show a different perspective. Unfortunately, it's usually lacking in much backbone. No game has ever made me successfully question anything I believe because it frankly doesn't provide enough substance to back its claims.
I prefer when a game focuses less on morality and more on some supernatural thing and it should stay within the confines of its own creation instead of trying to expand to a bigger realm.
Launch consoles are normally fine. I only had an issue with the 360. All other consoles at launch have worked fine
Maybe they're not that invested?
Just a thought.
I'd argue that morality in society is dead. There is no right or wrong or even in between. Everyone gets to decide what is right or wrong for them and therefore every person has their own "moral" compass which therefore means nobody is moral.
Morality can't be contradictory. It is either right or wrong/better or worse. It can't be both at the same time.
To which we then get to the real issue. Who is right and who is wrong. Very few ...
The only issue with trying to present moral arguments is the unfortunate lack of moral values in current society.
Moral values are currently hidden behind traditions or passed down expectations and very few actually know of their existence in certain practices and traditions.
The modern teenager questions everything but does not receive any adequate responses so they are left to decide or come up with moral values, which are generally very weak and don...
Depending on the size and importance I would normally call these types expansions.
I'm fine with expansions to games after the fact...I'm not fine with a game releasing with a bunch of optional dlc.
I think it's obvious by now that MTXs make a ton of money off people.
That said software sales are still a huge portion of that overall revenue. 30% is a big deal. In terms of their exclusives a big factor of their appeal is the lack of BS.
The devs have explained that Sony does have a say. I dislike the misleading of this article.
What a bunch of crap journalism that other article was. It led me to believe Sony had no say and now it appears they do.
Geez what stupid journalist didnt do their leg work. Let my guard down once and trust these journos and I get the turn around.
Nope. If you go for talent you may get diversity and talent. But if you go for diversity you may not get the talent.
Because diversity does not equal talent. If diversity is really important it directly goes against talent because it would conflict in many cases.
Saying diversity is super important to them conflicts with the goal of getting talent into the studio.
If this was not the case you would get more deadlines about how they are looking for the best talent no matter the skin color. Now that is inclusive and that has the right priority.
If you h...
Diversity in viewpoints doesn't mean racial diversity. Ubisofts portfolio hasn't changed due to greed not anything else.
I'm one of those who assumed. Nobody contested it so it seemed to me that I was right. I thought they had game rights too.
Learn something new everyday.
That's....
What she said.
Exactly. These companies make a ton.
Well I can see someone needing several millions for a dream home or a couple of them. Also several hundreds of thousands for some kind of rich person collection like cars....but after that what the heck do you need?
Doesn't Sony own Spiderman?
What the hell would you need 40 million each year for anyway?
Lifestyle is a silly reason as nothing costs that much per year unless you intentionally spend incredibly high for the sake of spending high.
He'd be doing just as well making 10 million or even 5 million per year.
This is the info I've been waiting for.
I have no reason to buy a third controller since the ps5 controller will do for ps5 and PS4 games.
I was contemplating buying more controllers for party games but if they won't scale I might as well wait a little for the ps5 console with a controller.
And I'm so glad they finally did
They should add split screen co op and 4 player smaller minigmaes for local party time.
