More battery life sounds great. I really like that Sony chooses to forgo batteries. I know they last longer but was still annoying to have to buy batteries.

It might be a reason for me to get on that game again. But I normally play catiiusly careful not to spend to many resources in any encounter. This more looks to force me to use anything and everything I have at my disposal in order to survive.

Spiderman, horizon 2, project Athia, demon souls, godfall, returnal, and ghostwire Tokyo caught my interest for the ps4. There were some others as well but this were the most exciting for me.
And I know that four of these will be highly acclaimed games for sure.
Whereas for the Xbox games you listed...I have no track record guarantee that they will be great games. I'm sure a couple might make the list.
Well unless proven otherwise by Microsoft there really is no reason to go for the Xbox.
Currently the Xbox one x is more powerful than the ps4 pro. But the pro is a much better option because of the high quality exclusives.
For the series x and ps5 it's the same situation unless Microsoft can prove otherwise.

I don't normally buy digital for console so I didn't notice until about a couple of weeks ago because I had ea access and ps plus and was able to choose a version.

The issue with halo and gears is that they haven't changed or evolved the formula in any meaningful way.
