Hate and fear are very close to each other. Besides the second was more about revenge than hate.
With practice it becomes easier. I watch anime in Japanese with English subtitles and I no longer miss anything. Kind of strange to explain it but you learn to look at the whole image and read it. I don't miss anything on the screen because of the subtitles.
These mid gen upgrades are such a cash grab for both consoles. All games have been perfectly playable on the base consoles.

I'm going througg on survival+ and skipping all cutscenes. Boy is the combat repetitive. Nothing like the pacing in the first game that had many unique encounters.

The 3rd was a bit strange but at least moved some story forward. The 4th completely ignores all previous characters and focuses on a brother that was never mentioned and at the same time makes the 3rd game false.

The whole point of reviews is to inform the gamers on whether they should dish out some cash or not.
Many current reviewers are pretty horrible but you just gotta find the people you tend to agree with since it will likely lead you to the types of games you enjoy.
I personally take in angry Joe's, skillups, laymens, acg and a couple of other ones from YouTube. I used to really like totalbiscuits reviews.
The one difference between those open world's and Sony's is that Sony does not always inplement current social political correctness.
They wanted deacon to be something other than a straight white male. And I'm sure this new character should have been a woman or given a choice to be a woman.
I thought games were critiqued based on how good they are not about what they say. This garbage way if looking at a game is politicized and silly. The game doesn't need to have some deep meaning or current social aspects. As far as I've heard it does some new things never seen before and the graphics are gorgeous in a way that has never been seen before as well.
If this is. 6.0 I expect Valhalla to be the same or lower since it doesn't look anywhere near as gorg...
I don't recall playing a samurai open world before either so it's quite honestly a lie to say we've played this before. Unless I'm mistaken.

It is completely untrue that we can't understand the culture or get it right. These guys probably get it right more than any other developer out there. Do you know the culture? The history? If not it's quite silly to assume others can't portray it right others who have put the time and energy to understand it.

Well they are technically anti consumer since it forces the consumer to upgrade to the next gen. In past gen's it made sense to move on since the technical leap was massive. Between these two gen's however the leap is not as present...sure there's the SSD but not all devs will design for it.

The elder scrolls game are only very long if you want to do all of the content. Main story does not take that long.
AC Odyssey is the first open world that I've seen gate you from progressing and forcing you to do side content.

As far as books go unfortunately nobody reads anymore so most bookshops are closed. Read the picture of Dorian grey while you wait. It's a good read. Definitely very emotional and pyschologically interesting.
