The pro and standard ps4 where not released at the same time. The pro came out quite a while after and yes you're right...it is held back by the standard ps4.
But what kind of morons actually plan being held back right at the start of a next gen? Not the same thing.
I hope that devs opt not to release games on xbox s and if they can't due to crap then not to release on xbox period.
It's really strange to claim next gen while delivering current gen hardware.
What they are doing is deciding that their next gen consoles will be weak but be more affordable with gamepass and at the same time block multiplat devs from actually creating unique experiences for next gen due to their imposed limitations.

Okay. 2 things.
The first is that your example is only okay if PlayStation really doesn't care about the ps5 upgrade feature. It is so small and tucked away that it can easily go unnoticed.
The second point bring that generally company brand guidelines don't allow for other company features tucked underneath them. It almost looks like it's a Ubisoft feature.

Well I'm usually not playing cod. To me that really wouldn't be something to play. If I wanted zombie mode only then I believe there is a way to install only that portion for instance.
I do agree that 500 is small for a digital only console. but I get why they couldn't go higher to maintain the 300 price.

Ive been playing a really long time. I've never needed more than a 500gb hard drive. Why keep a game you beat and will likely never play again installed?
It amazes me to see so many have an immense amount of games installed. Or maybe this is speaking from having the privelage to no data caps. If I wanna replay something I reinstall. Doesn't take long.
Its the worst zelda in history of zelda games. No dungeons. Lots of emptiness.
