I have a feeling this will do like XIII did. It'll probably be a very good game in itself, like XIII was, but soooo many fans are gonna be disappointed that it is not like the old games, saying once again that final fantasy has fallen, etc etc etc.
As for me, I'm moderately hyped. I don't like what I've seen of the setting and characters so far, but I'm gonna give it a chance anyway...
Have you played Shin Megami Tensei games?
They're full of sexual subjects that are wisely used for character development.
Yeah, main exception to that would be Catherine, who played somehow on the bizarre relationship between sex and death.
I'm all for inclusion of sexual subjects within video games.
Some games have done this in a very thoughtful and mature way already, like Persona or Catherine, and Metal Gear Solid.
I'm also all for exploitative content, as long as it's bought by users within the appropriate age range. There's this kind of content in every art form, from cinema to painting to literature, so I don't see why video games should be an exception. The main issue ...
Persona Karting.
Persona Trivia Quiz.
Persona vs Professor Layton.
Persona Warriors.
So many possibilities.
That would make me buy a ps4, no questions asked.
Yeah, I'll probably buy it once I get a ps4. It's sure to be discounted by then. :)
That's why I used the word "most" and singled out knack...
My opinion is that most of these games look generic. :/
I get that a lot of work went into technical rendering, but they could have put some effort into art direction.
Knack has both, art direction and technical tour de force, but I heard the gameplay was poor.
Linearity is only bad when it's not what's expected from a particular game.
If Elder Scrolls went linear, people would feel mad about it, for a reason. But no one ever complained about the linear structure of most platformers or jrpgs.
Who uses linearity as an insult anyway?
Last time I heard about that was for the original Final Fantasy XIII, and the problem was not about linearity really, all FF games are linear, but about the lack of side c...
I see 30 april everywhere, but my preorder on the psn says 29... Would make sense, games are not released on wednesdays usually... Anyway, can't wait! :)
One major omission here :
Burn my Dread / Final battle version - Persona 3
I'd say the best values are PS3 / Xbox 360 and 3DS... But that's just me.
Yeah! I haven't heard of Caroline Dhavernas since wonderfalls. I like how Ubisoft uses exclusively local talents for Child of Light. :)
lolwut
(Guys, I think this is sarcasm)
She seems to get older as the game reaches the end?
Looks awesome anyway, pre-ordered already, just can't wait! :)
B-but... Disgaea is all about grind. It's what makes this series so good (In my opinion). And it's not needed to make it through any game in the series. The story is usually a smooth sail, then once it done, the real grind fest begins.
It's not like they're gonna brick our consoles on monday. Games will still work. And if you can't go online, play a single player game then.
Or, I don't know, go to the movies or something.
Yesssssss!
Can't wait!
