I have C&C3 on the PC, played the demo on the 360 and would love to see it on the PS3.
I can't wait for this to be released its going to be awesome!
There will always be a Japanese Xbox, its unthinkable to ignore that market. With each new release they make a small gain in that territory and even if that gain is just a spoiler to sales for Sony then Microsoft have to be there.
The 360 price cut is a good headline grabber for Microsoft and will surely help sales if not just for the misinformed parents who just look at the price. When you examine things closer and add in the price of the HDD, wireless adaptor, LIVE subscription, play & charge kit etc its not as good a deal anymore. The 360 has a great line up of games there is no denying that but the discerning buyer will see through the price and realise they are not getting a whole lot for their money.
I think its always interesting for existing owners to see price cuts as it will likely bring in more gamers who perhaps have sat on the sidelines until now. Nintendo will still sell bucketloads of Wii's at the current price and the PS3 has some really big titles coming soon. The price cut to £150 for the arcade pack is a good headline grabber for Microsoft though it hides the costs of making the system comparable to the PS3 such as the HDD which some games now require allow online play a...

The main thing that interests me about this wheel is the wireless capability though I'm not sure how long the batteries would last on a force feedback wheel. I own a G25 at the moment and the review is totally wrong when it says that all three pedals feel the same - there is a distinct difference in each one. Having just bought a Gameracer Pro seat the wireless would be a big benefit to me but the G25 is tried and tested. I'm a long time user of Logitech wheels and know they are very durable ...
That would be just the ticket for my PS3, I had been thinking of getting a 320GB HDD (which incidentally costs £30 LESS than the 120GB 360 HDD) but if it doesn't cost a hell of a lot more then I think I'll wait and buy a 500GB. Learnt from bitter experience with my PC that you can never have too much HDD space.
Downloading CD's and films is nothing new, music especially has been here years but physical media is still the choice of the consumer. Music is an easier proposition because as BaalZevuv has said you can break it down into individual songs that do not detract from the overall experience of listening to the music. Now go try and download a HD film, for starters a music track is 5mb, a Blu-Ray disk can hold 50GB (and will increase to 100GB) so even if the film takes a quarter of that thats sti...
Trash talking is a problem in any game that has VOIP and whatever format its played on. Trash talking is annoying but even more so are the idiots who think its cool and funny to play music constantly overcomms - like its never been done before! Some stupid gansta rap crap spoiling the comms so you can't hear your team mates clearly. As for that particular headset I was glad to get the wireless headset when I had a 360 and now use a Bluetooth one on my PS3. The plug was too easy to pull out in...
He's just towing the company line, they were all promoting HD DVD a few months ago but now its "download content is king" If you listen to podcasts by paid company employee's then expect company propaganda. Download content may well go that way which is why Microsoft and Sony are working on it. Lets not forget how Sony got their hands slapped years ago over their first DRM which shows how long ago they were working on this form of distribution so its nothing new that Microsoft is do...
I was an Xbox fan since the original Xbox. Bought my 360 and had two develop the RROD inside 12 months so luckily I could take it back to the shop for a replacement. When the third unit started developing disk reading errors after it got too hot (only after around two hours of being switched on) I decided to get rid of it and get a PS3. I enjoyed the games on the 360, liked the online service but it felt like I was playing Russian Roulette every time I switched it on. After trying out a frien...

I`m thinking Sony guy Rubbishing a Sony Product would get him fired.... Not much of an incentive. In fact i`m fairly sure that no company in history will ever say anything bad about a product they are creating.
Strange that."
I suggest you google Gerald Ratner who once described his companies products as "crap"
Although his comments just sound a little like sour grapes he does make a valid point about having to make the game interesting and playable with that number of players. I sometimes liked to play a few games of Doom because 2 or 4 player felt more gladitorial than the huge melee's in games like Battlefield 2 which I really enjoyed on the PC and 360. So yes up the player count but care needs to be taken to make it an entertaining multiplayer experience and on that count that's something Bungie...
I didn't like the demo on the PC because of the UI, ot looks much much beeter on the 360 its just a shame he's not going to be doing a PS3 version.
While there are too many people making a living off of the back of the corpse that is the HD DVD format it will linger like some rotting cadaver. The hangers on - the marketing execs and solictors employed by the groups will do all they can to ride the gravy train till the very end. Their greed will ensure the HD DVD format limps on confusing the ill informed consumers who would believe there is still a contest.
Sony need to have a handheld (not necessarily the PSP2) which exploits the remote play features of the PS3 and tie in with LocationFree and whatever features PlayTV brings. It need not have any real processing power of its own, just enough to connect to the PS3 and stream games right from there. All it needs to be is a dumb terminal of sorts that utilises the PS3's processing power. The time for playing cut down versions of regular games because they are runon a handheld needs to end, I want ...
Once again this site dissapoints me with the bilge it allows to be posted. Its muck raking slanderous nonsense like this that I hope will see Sony take legal action against sites like the source site and also sites like this for promoting such poor journalism. Its time the gaming news sites got a wake-up call and I'm afraid expensive litigation may be the only answer. This is a truly shameful day for N4G
Cook15 is posting in the wrong area.
This is nothing more than the effect of retailers selling HD DVD players at knock down prices to clear stock. The format war is all but over. People buying HD DVD players now are either taking a big gamble or they are uninformed buyers who believe the hype from the HD DVD group that everything in the garden is rosy. Sony took a huge gamble on the PS3, it was their trojan horse to get Blu-Ray layers into people's homes and it seems to have pa...
Utter nonsense, you think the XBOX platform can disregard Japan and Europe? you're living in a dream world if you think North American sales can keep it going. Sony and Nintendo have longer histories with the Japanese market and both companies cater for game fans in Japan with the styles of games they like where Microsoft have not really done much. Gaming tastes differ the world over and Microsoft don't seem to understand this, their approach to the Japanese market seems half-hearted at best ...
