It is a big of a steep learning curve but a great game
I recently bought one of these to mount my G25 on:

DLC is a huge gamble for Microsoft, on one hand they can try and spoil the party for Blu-Ray but on the other they incur more RROD's 360's as they overheat waiting hours for the DLC to finish :)
When I sit down to play GT5: Prologue I'll be looking through the windscreen over the steering wheel and dashboard with the rest of the car interior around me - just like a real car. I won't be sitting in some fantasy on the bonnet position with nothing around me like Forza.
Given the choice I'll take the in-car view as online racing in Forza 2 was ruined by idiots playing bumper cars.
He's a former Microsoft employee - all hype and no substance is all he knows. Its likely to be the announcement of an F1 game as they have reportedley already signed a deal with Lewis Hamilton.
Says the fool desperately trying to deend the huge failure rate of the 360. Who are you? theMART's lovechild?
Saw the ads today during breaks in the Formula 1 coverage which is also sponsored by Sony this year on ITV - looks like they want to grab those UK sales figures!
Perfect example of what to do if you're site is suffering from low hits, give some space to a blogger to make up some numbers and let him post under a controversial headline. No need for facts, this is the internet after all!
I've seen fellow gamers on a forum I used to frequent on their fourth or fifth. I was on my third 360 before I decided to throw the towel in. I thought one RROD was unfortunate, a second unnacceptable but fortunately (if you could say that about having two RROD's) it was within my twelve months return to store guarantee. Microsoft had no choice they either had to extend the warranty or face a complete product recall with class action cases being launched. As it is the extension on the warrant...
How did this make it as news? its the ramblings of an anonymous fanboy. I was dissapointed with Microsoft's customer service but very dissapointed with the quality of the hardware - sufficiently dissapointed to make me switch to another brand of games console. Articles like this discredit not only the site that produced it but also N4G and the person posting it here. Garbage journalism.
Yeah right, GT is unrealisitc because it has no damage yet Forza has no in car view - of course we all drive cars from the bonnet with no dashboard, steering wheel or windscreen in view. Yet another ill informed post from theMart.
Desperate times call for desperate measures just like the excuses over distribution because the PS3 outsold the 360 last month now an add-on is released a few days before GT5:Prologue is released. With GT5:P pre-orders in the SCEE regions alone at 1 Million (and that figure doesn't even take into account the downloadable version) its hard to see how anyone can justify its losing its appeal.
Not long to wait now, have my G25 and Gameracer seat hooked up and ready to go.
Please report 15, its offensive. Old men declare war, its the young men who fight it. He was just a soldier doing his job RIP.
You've completely missed the point, the Japanese market has different tastes and MS is not catering for that market its a different culture and Microsoft don't understand it. Microsoft are not doing it right now else they would be selling much much better and yet recently American and European figures show the PS3 rising above the 360 quite some way with analysts predicting the PS3 overtaking the 360 in terms of total numbers sold. Japan gave us quality brands like Toshiba, Sony, Honda and To...
I traded in my 360 for a PS3, couldn't face yet another RROD
@12.1
What a load of nonsense, the 360 is failing in Japan because not only did Sony and Nintendo have a head start on Microsoft but Microsoft has been half-hearted about the Japanese release. Different regions have different tastes in games, we also share alot of tastes just like some comedy doesn't travel very well around the world. Sony and Nintendo understand this but Microsoft have done little to cater for the Japanese market and the consumers see this and vote with their ...
I'm well aware of the HDD's on the other console's as a former Premium 360 owner. Take that £199 Premium, add the wireless adaptor, XBOX Live subscription, play and charge kit and you're £10 over the PS3 yet still short of 20GB over the 40GB PS3 and a Blu-Ray player.
Now take that Elite at £249.99 and add the play and charge kit, the wireless adaptor and XBOX Live subscription and you are well over £300 though you have an 80GB increase in memory but you can ...
I think this is more about securing the forums from the mindless trolls who are free to sign in and trash talk, masquerading as Playstation owners. Much like the XBOX forums it will be easy to see who has the console and who does not. If this has anyting to do with HOME then surely the forums in other territories would have this syncronisation of accounts.
Early adopters always take the risk, if anyone got burnt it was the person who went out and bought a HD DVD. Technology evolves, you could say millions of people got burned each time the DVD format was enhanced or every time Dolby released a new sound standard. Blu-Ray players bought on the day of their release still play movies just fine, just because updates come along doesn't mean older players will spontaneously combust. Those early adopters still backed the winning format and can still v...
