I think I'll go for the Razer BlackWidow for my next keyboard. I had a G15 but never really used the LCD much at all apart from the odd novelty if a new game had an app for it. The other issue I had with Logitech keyboards is the key lettering tends to wear off quickly.
The G15 quickly lost the coating on the keys so they just became lighted blob's and my current no frills Logitech keyboard has lost all the lettering on the 'A' key and half of the 'S'...
I would love to see Activision call their bluff for the next Call of Duty game or other big franchise release or EA for that matter. Why is it that EA who have their own download service/digital store don't have an issue with their games runnign on Steam...the answer is easy the real truth of the matter is GAME and Gamestation make huge profit from used games sales and Steam robs them of that. GAME and Gamestation have pretty much given up on the PC as a format anyway and prefer to concen...
Table tennis is the most enjoyable game on there. Its leaps and bounds ahead of anything on the Wii. The 1:1 motion allowing for easy application of different shots, backhand, forehand, smashes, spin its all so easy thanks to the controllers and makes for an enjoyable game. I'd have paid a few £'s for just that game on the PS Store. If anything was lacking from Sports Champions it would be a full on tennis game and bowling - two of the main games that show off this kind of techno...
Online passes, CD keys its much the same it doesn't bother me. Second hand sales between friends or casual sales through Ebay are not the issue for the developers and publishers its the huge chains like Gamestop, GAME and Gamestation promoting used sales over new that is the problem. Its no coincidence that these kinds of online codes came in when these chains really started pushing used sales. For those saying the developers should make the games worth owning, yes they should but a game ...
"Call of Duty worked flawlessly upon release"

The game is a solid 8/10, no way does it deserve 6.5. Just because its not CoD its getting low marks but I enjoy it becasue its not CoD online, no gimmicky kill streaks, no play unbalancing perks just a decent straight forward FPS game set in a modern world scenario. This reboot of the franchise is a welcome tonic to CoD. Don't get me wrong I love CoD too but this MoH is a good foundation for the series to build upon.
I bought Halo: Reach, I have MoH on ore order for Friday and I have Black Ops pre ordered. I'm a gamer, I enjoy first person shooters on PC, PS3 and 360 so why not buy them? Let the fanboys squabble and the real gamers game on!
buying both and may end up buying them on more than one format because of friends split across different formats
I spent a lot of time swearing at my TV when he does those really annoying short serves
Thats a purposely misleading statement to make. That can mean anything from using actual game engine footage to just using some 3d models from the game in the CGI promo. I have their PS3 titles, they make good games but have never really been renowned for pushing the boundaries of graphical quality.
Its early days yet, Bobby Kotick hasn't decided whether he's going to dice or slice first or which side of their back the knife looks best in.
Can't wait to give this a blast!
I was dissapointed with the Move integration, its easier to play using a Dualshock controller. The aiming etc is no improvement over using a DS3 and I find it nearly impossible to control the spin input. So many really fun games for the Move controller but I was really looking forward to High Velocity Bowling getting patched but its one of the most dissapointing Move games available, I'd give it 2/5 because it could have been so much better. Move support for High Velocity Bowling really j...
Millions buy FIFA and PES every year to name but two sports games. Those that say F1 doesn't change that much obviously know nothing about the sport. With the license costing so much I expected Codemasters to be making F1 a yearly title.
With GT5 and iRacing I'll have my NASCAR needs covered.
Yeah shame on Sony for adding Move support in free patches for so many games along with a number of other developers, shame on Sony for having a decent line up of games designed specifically for the Playstation Move controller at launch. Of course he thinks a controller is better for games like HALO, CoD etc because its impossible to play those games without a trigger and guess what you can't pull a trigger on Kinect. I'm really enjoying the Move controllers. I might end up buying Kin...
Good article as a basic guide, 2-3 fans will do a decent job for most people, its a balance between noise levels and keeping a low enough case temp. Also most modern OS's do a decent job at keeping themselves unfragmented, its not like the old days of Win 95, 98 etc.
Flight Control is really good fun on my iPhone so I'll buy this for my PS3.
I'd be dissapointed if its not in but its not a deal breaker for me.
ARMA 2 is great, it didn't run too badly on my old system but runs nicely on my new quad core. Its pretty scaleable to run on a lot of PC's unlike the original ARMA which was a resource hog no matter what you had. If they could make the online play more streamlined and easy to pick up then it could prove to be a lot more popular online but the menu's are not great and online can be frustrating unless you've organised everyone before hand. I don't want them to make it less ...
