Exactly. A new bunch of consoles would only drive up costs further. A lot more studios would close under the weight of trying to pay to develop for them.
No matter how much people complain, there's still a lot left in these consoles. I hope for at least two years till I have to buy them.
edit: Also, the move and kinect were specifically made to extend the lifecycle of both consoles. I just really really doubt they'll do it.

The story either flashes back to or starts or something with Max being more like we remembered. If there's one thing you gotta trust R* with is story so there must be something there.

It felt off in that part. I chose to just skip it since it felt so stupid. I mean, his ribs were broken. Wouldn't have fit. At all.
They kept the music I absolutely loved from Max Payne 2 so they win nostelga points from me for that.
Other than that, it seems odd. Pretty odd but R* have not only not done me wrong this gen, they've given me at least 2 of my favorite games this gen. So I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
Don't let me down R*. Love Max Payne and R* so let's hope they mesh well in MP3.
If* that is true then it's sad. It's a great game so far and Insomniac just can't seem to get sales even though they knock it out of the park nearly everytime.

On topic away from all this stupidity though, I'm really not sure if I'm getting skyward sword. It looks really good but I don't have the wii motion + and I'll need to hook up my wii again. Sounds like a good long game at least though.
I've been throwing around an idea in my head: my friend's getting mw3 and I wanna play with her. She doesn't like BF3 and I honestly don't care for either mw3 or BF3 so I'll just let her pick mw3.
But regardless, I would hate to spend $60 on it so I was thinking of buying the hardened edition and ebaying the extras that come with it. In theory, that could recoup some of the losses on it. Maybe. I'm not really sure. Not yet sure if it's worth...
At tip to anyone here: check eBay and put ending soonest under $10-15. You'll find a lot of good deals. I got The Darkness for $7 like that and Brutal Legend for $8.
edit: And of course, eBay in general is great for deals but if you want a game on a $10 budget, that's a good strategy.
editedit: Oh and of course, if a friend recommends you, you can get 3 months of gamefly for only $17. That saved me at least $200 and I was playing games all summe...
Haha, very very true. I probably spent more time comparing one minor gun enhancement over another and hated it. ME2 felt a little too streamlined in a way but it was still good. ME1 was a good game despite itself.
In the end, it was the world they created.
It sounds like it was. Crysis 2 was one of the least fun games I've played in a long time.

Regardless, here were are 5 years later and it's barely 100%. I still stand on the late 2012/early 2013 release guess though.
Probably at E3 they'll say early 2013 and at next TGS they'll say the firm release date.
If they said too much now then FFXIII-2 and type 0 would lose all hype.

No buttons and the games just suffer 99 times out of 100. The games on it will probably never rise about the "5 minute distraction" it's known for but hey, maybe it could be a gateway drug for more people to buy games. More money towards the industry. That never hurts.
