I am excited for Sigma 2 because it will give them the chance to make the game the masterpiece it should have been in the first place. The prospect of Co-op alone excites the hell out of me.
It's also nice to hear that Team Ninja isn't going to abandon DOA or Ninja Gaiden and at the same time will be making new and great games and give themselves a bit more room to breathe.
This isn't a screen it's promo art work for the game. The title is kind of misleading.
That said they seem to be going in a very different direction with the new game which is a good think as we had already seen plenty of Max Payne rip off's so it will be nice to see how they make the series shine after so long.
While advertising is a big part of the problem I don't see why everyone is flipping out about the sales. The game has not been out that long. How long as Wii Fit been out and everyone is still going OMG ITS STILL SELLING. You need to give it time. Not everyone is going to buy the game right away.

The reason behind lack of J-RPGs is expense. It is very expensive to make a game as big as a J-RPG in this day and age. Hence why some of the best J-RPG's this gen have been on PSP(Crisis Core) and DS(The World Ends With You) It's just really costly to make a full blown next gen J-RPG.
When this is the case there are going to be less games and when there are less games there is a larger chance that those games may not live up to expectations.

Looks great to be sure but to be honest I am getting sick of these Uber realistic graphics every single game seems to have now. I much prefer a creative art style over realism like Okami or Persona or the like.

They are in no way the same.
I don't want a simple re-release of MVC2 I want a HD remix version of the game. Which has also been hinted at by Capcom. Honestly I don't see the sense of releasing the original version only to a year later release the HD remix version. The name that's on the ESRB site seems to indicate a straight port released over PSN and XBLA but time will tell. I would assume we will hear something about it soon I would expect.
Lashing out at the competition is nothing new. Look at every Apple ad ever made. They all lash out at MS and back in the days of the Sega Genesis and Super NES most of the ads Sega had lashed out at Nintendo. It's part insecurity and partly just how the business works.
SotC online could work really well. Make it a game in which the bosses were so big they would need many players to take down and would require team work as well. I would not say it would be a full blown MMO if it is true but it could certainly work as a online game that had 4-5 players. This is a retarded statement. The fact that Final Fantasy XIII is exclusive to PS3 in Japan is gonna be a big factor in making the PS3 version the better seller. Not to mention that Final Fantasy is long known to be a PlayStation game so people will buy PS3 based on that.

I find it kind of stupid that they think just because the character art in that picture is similar to Lost Odyssey that it makes it Lost Odyssey 2. I think it is more likely that it is a new original IP that has the same character artist as LO but either way It's good news.
Glad to hear this. The Last Remnant held alot of promise but all the technical issues brought it down on the 360. Hopefully the PS3 version will be fixed up even better because we could use more RPG's.

While multi plat would help sales I bit I don't think it would be enough to warrant the cost of doing that. The Xbox crowd is notorious for not liking to try many new games and they seem to prefer shooters and action games and what not.
I have a Zune and I love it. I used to own a Ipod and was dissapointed but I have had no problems with my Zune. That said if Zune hardware did die out I don't think it would be that big of a deal as The Zune Marketplace and Social as well as the software are just as much a part of Zune as the Hardware.
