The fact that it's leaked is nice but if they were showing it at GDC they were trying to impress someone and it doesn't impress. It has repetitive animation and on top of that it doesn't look like they are doing anything new with the series other then adding alot more enemies on screen at once which countless other games have already done.

The game is still a ways out but Team Ninja has said the game will run in Native 1080P its possible the game just has not yet been able to do that or that the trailers were not complete.
Either way Ninja Gaiden II was a great looking game and any way they can improve it will make it that much better so I really don't think there is much to be worried about.
I believe this is true. If you watch the trailer it never mentions Call of Duty it refers to the game simply as Modern Warfare 2. Even the website given at the end does not have the call of duty name.

It's actually quite horrible. Because of the bad you tube quality and the fact that it's a shaky cam vid the vid looks nothing special. It really only looks like a slightly prettier version of God of War 2 and personally I didn't like the controlling the cyclops because it lumbered around in circles using the same animation every 3-4 seconds.
This really isn't the video to use to get people hyped for the game.

Personally I think the whole thing is kinda stupid. We have known the game was coming for quite some time. We did not need a announcement and a teaser trailer we needed a real game play trailer and some info on how they plan to make the game better then modern warfare 1 but I guess we will have to wait until E3 for that.
Just like digital downloads wont take over Onlive will not take over. There are still ALOT of people in the US with No or incredibly slow internet and it's quite clear what they are trying to do here requires a speedy connection which not everyone has.

The way they are explaining it really does sound like it's a very beefed up and enhanced version of Final Fantasy X-2's combat crossed with a bit of Final Fantasy XII without the job system.
Where as in this game the time units are used as you use commands in X-2 the ATB bar would get bigger or smaller depending on the power of the attack you just used making certain abilities not as attractive to use as it may slow down the overall course of battle.

I know exactly what you mean. For me it's gotten to the point where I hardly ever play anything on my 360 for fear of it dying. It takes about 1-2 months for me to get mine back when i send it in which is retarded but there isn't really much I can do about it except buy a new one which I cannot really afford to do every year or so.
Fixing the reliability is still a big issue. Every time MS comes out with a new chip set they say "This will solve the Red Ring of Death Issue, We Promise" and then a month or 2 later we get reports of people with this new chip set getting RROD. While it is true that the problem is slowly getting better that's not good enough. They are abandoning the name Call of Duty for a few reasons I would think.
