From what I heard, you can go into the online multiplayer with a friend against just bots - Not sure if that's true, but if so then it's close to a 'co-op' mode.

I actually agree with you (apart from about the co-op) - I never expected KZ2 to be perfect, just brilliant. By all accounts it is so I'm happy.
On the co-op... If Guerilla had promised such a mode then removed it at some point in the creative process then I would agree that the game should be marked down. But, as far as I know it was never supposed to be there and so it's abscence can't really be considered a 'flaw' (I reckon).
Well said. As I've said elsewhere: All I've ever wanted from the KZ2 reviews is a mostly positive concensus, and that's what I've got (and them some!). Anything else is quibbling over individual opinions, ergo totally pointless.
I also have no interest in HALO, so care even less whether KILLZONE "owns" it or not, regardless of how their scores compare.
I saw one BIG spoiler, but luckily (or unluckily, depending on your view) I already knew about it before watching. It's a quick cut-scene clip, but people may not want know about it!
I don't care about 'perfect' scores to be honest. All I wanted to see regarding this game was a 'positive concensus' and BY JINGO I've got that in spades!
I'm also really glad they called the original KILLZONE "underated" too. I'm still playing it on my PS3 all these years later andI think it's a damn fine debut for a small company like Guerilla was back then.
As the reviews (not the scores, the actual REVIEWS!) clearly indicate that KZ2 is far more than the "B quality title" you desperately hoped it would be and is in fact up there with the best of them, it's clear that you've told the same lie to yourself so often that you've come to believe it and your interest in reality is zero.
As such, it's beyond useless arguing with you. Bye!

I'll definately download the demo whenever it comes out. I don't think it'll ruin the experience of the full game, and it'll also give me a bit of practice with the controls for when I get dropped into the 'real thing'.
For sheer fun and playability, I doubt KZ2 will replace UNCHARTED as my favourite PS3 game, but for presentation and immersion I suspect it will be my favourite FPS, maybe of all time.

"Open Zone" or not, I still think a person should speak with the same courtesy that they would use if talking to someone on the street. Anything else is cowardice.
