How will they work, I wonder? If they're earned with points then the goal will have to be set pretty high, as some players will have a lot of XP that they gained since ranking up to 'General' anyway.

For a few months I was actually considering a 360 purchase to compliment my PS3. That stance is slowly receding over the horizon in a cloud of dust...

I (and hopefully the majority of level-headed Sony owners) realise this absurb article is nothing but emotive nonesense, BUT it's a sad fact that a very vocal minority will leap on this and use it as 'proof' of there own wild theories. Ergo, the cycle never ends...
Don't have a 360 so can't say which is 'best'. All I can add is that I've had no problems with my PS3 pad at all, ever. Games like RESISTANCE, KILLZONE 2, WIPEOUT HD and the like all control fine to me.

Add free roaming to MS and it stops being MS, it becomes FUEL. We have two games that offer different slants on the off-road racing genre, so why try to make one like the other??
To listen to the comments pre and post-release of the game, very few 360 owners even want KILLZONE 2.
PC owners have CRYSIS (which they insist is 'better') so I presume they wouldn't be interested either.

I have a great game that's sold well. If you see some form of 'bitterness' then it says more about you than I!
Well I think KZ2 IS that good, but this article seems it suggest it doesn't really matter anyway.
MS would throw money at the advertsing for this game (if it was on their platform) and it would sell regardless of how good, bad or indifferent it was.
If an exact port of HALO 3 was released on PS3 (just suppose), would it sell 8,000,000? Of course not, but would that alter the perceived quality of the game? not in the slightest, so once again I say "sales do NOT...

Truth be told, I absolutely agree with the article. As such, it completely debunks the 'sales are everything' attitude prevelant in the anti-Sony camp.
If it sells over 1,000,000 copies... I have a superb, well crafted game that I'll be playing for a long time AND the high probability of a great thrid instalment in the franchise.
