The first two of the new ranks are at 5000 and 10,000 points? Most people will get them automatically as soon as the patch is downloaded then.
That's one of several reasons I hadn't bought it (until half an hour ago!) - I just had too much other stuff to get through on my PS3.
I'm English, so the air fair to come over and find a Gamestop may put it out of my price range! ;)
But, I got it for £27 here in Blighty, so I won't quibble over that price!
EDIT: The "Phantom Disagree Fairy" seems to be telling me I made a mistake! Too late, PDF!!!
All I know is that my eyes tend to glaze over a bit (in a good way) when I'm playing FLOWER, and I slowly sink lower into the 'comfy chair'. It must be doing something right!
I've just ordered VALKYRIA CHRONICLES, so that's one off my list. Still on the fence about WARHAWK.
Ah well, I like to support exclusives, especially 'niche' ones like this, so just ordered from PLAY.COM (although it was out of stock so I had to go with a 'Playtrader' third party seller.
If I don't like it, I'm comin' back for you two!!!!! ;)
Even if somebody DOES own both main consoles, they're not going to buy the game on both are they? As such, even they'll never truly know "which is best?", instead going for just the one that suits them.
So, the 'differences' are meaningless.
Honestly, I need convincing to buy this game. As someone not into the RPG scene, does it appeal beyond that genre or is it just a great example of it?
Still, word is soooo positive that I may take the plunge.
And if they HAD postponed the game to put this DLC into the main release, we'd be seeing "LOL at the Delaystation games" posts.
Either way, somebody would be whinging and hammering "LOL LOL" as ammunition in their crusade against Sony.
A few of the existing multiplayer maps were taken from the SP campaign and modified anyway, so there's no shock to see it being done for the DLC.
Pity $5.99 will probably mysteriously translate to £5.99 on it's way over to the UK (not a dig at Sony by the way - We get ripped like that all the time over everything!). Either way, ME WANT!
Quite enjoyed the demo (on PS3), but not enough for a purchase. As such, doesn't matter to me which is perceived to be "better" (If any version is, of course)
A second game (so soon) sort of defeats the object of the creative nature of the first one doesn't it?
Maybe it's VO work for some sort of official downloadable content.
EDIT at the comments on the story site. I forgot about the PSP version...
And at least Jaffe tried to be balanced and reasonable about it, unlike Newall.
Didn't seem to do much good judging by the reactions here though.
And the ones that do, I turn 'em off!
Like Captain Kirk said: "Only a fool stands in the way of progress, but is this progress?".
I just don't honestly see the point, even in a great game like KILLZONE 2. The sixaxis moments in this (and other games) didn't 'immerse' me into the action at all, and you couldn't turn them off.
If people want such controls then great, but I'd like the option to do without.
Yep, saw that. Those disagrees were VERY 'unexpected'... took my breath away in fact.
I'll try anything if it's free, but I'm not getting my expectations too high...
I'm not sure how MP could work in a game like UNCHARTED (beyond two-player co-op). I just don't think it lends itself to that sort of thing.
Wasn't talking to you was I? Can't YZ250 answer for himself?
Why are you even on a 'gaming' site when your interest in games seems to be zero?
Downloading patches requires no effort, expense or hardship on my part and make a great game better. You obviously despise the game so won't be downloading any, ergo no ammount of them can be "too many" as far as you're concerned.
So why the worthless post?
