Already downloaded the new pack after patch 1.25 (not sure what the patch did though).
Contrary to my expectations, I actually prefer the Cruiser map. The 'Bullet' train map looks superb (and those obstacles are scary!), but it's a bit narrow for me and takes too long to get to the main combat areas. Not a criticism of the map really, just a personal preference of mine. I can't fault the atmosphere and sense of speed it offers at all.
KZ2 was initially listed at £39.99 at Play.com too, but it was then lowered to £29.99 nearer the release date.
When I ordered KILLZONE 2 from Play, I didn't get the 'free KZ2 theme code' e-mail until after I'd received the game in the post.
Don't know if that's a typical pattern though.
Maybe, but I've been signed up with Play.com for over eight years now and I'm set in my ways!
I preordered INFAMOUS from Play.com a while back, well before this offer was announced. I presume the offer is 'retroactive'.
I always use them for game purchases anyway though. For one thing they're cheaper than my high street shop and they also get the game to me a day or two before release.
GOB-SMACKING! *smack*
Good grief that looks sweet. Any doubts I had about MP in the UNCHARTED universe have been completely erased. The visuals... Oh!
I've played UNCHARTED all the way through several times, yet those images still impress me!
No argument from me, Chubear.
I played HAZE and I played HALO (1 and 3). I liked HAZE, I didn't like HALO. Does that mean anything in the grand scheme of things? Of course not, as it's just my opinion (one that very few agree with, clearly), yet I won't lie to myself just to follow a trend.
Blimey, I can't even get past the third level of the second Moon (I never said I was a 'good' gamer, just that I've been doing it a long time!).
Still, what I can play is a lot of fun (especially VENGEANCE mode), so more goodies are always welcome.
But it's FREE!
That's the best price of all, that is!!!
Hope it's legit. I sent a message but it seems too good to be true (could end up costing them a fortune sending all those Sack Boys out!).
Still, cost me nothing to send a message - Just hope I don't get bombarded with rubbish in the post: A ball of wool, some buttons and a "How to Knit" book.
That's your opinion and I'm fine with that, but I got rid of my 360 (given to me by my Sister) within a month due to nothing appealing to me, yet I've kept my PS3 since launch.
Different strokes and all that...
Considering your "league" seems to consist solely of sales then no, I don't think KILLZONE 2 will ever be in the same "league" as HALO 3.
But, as other, more rational people's "league's" actually involve some measure of game quality as opposed to just 'sales' then it can be said that, for many, KZ2 surpassed HALO 3's 'league' some time ago.
The 360 can sell all the consoles under the sun - Still won't make it any good compared to the PS3 though (just my opinion of course).
Besides, what do US sales have to do with an item about Japanese sales?
If I thought your opinion was formed after careful consideration I'd be quite concerned by that remark.
As it is, I just find it amusing...
Got them all except SFIV (not a fan of the genre).
Definately an FPS-slanted list, and it's strange to see BURN ZOMBIE BURN (which is a lot of fun, I admit) ahead of something like the stunning WIPEOUT HD.
Nice to see HEAVENLY SWORD make it onto his list though - I still think that game is underated.
Look at those 'disagrees'!!! Obviously some people just don't know how good DF was.
I can imagine some companies doing that, but not NAUGHTY DOG.
Sufferin' cats!
DRAKE'S FORTUNE is one of my favourite games, ever! The sequel was always going to be up there along side it, but the good news just keeps rolling out about AMONGST THIEVES.
Naughty Dog, may I offer an early but well deserved THANK YOU!!!
Yeah, but a few weeks back we had an article moaning about how medics heal people who don't want to be healed.
I always play as a medic in KZ2, and we angels of mercy are a persecuted breed!!
