Well of course, I forget to add the essential caveat:
"in the context of the imperfect world of creating console games".
And I think a game can be 'perfect' on a personal level. I find SUPER MARIO WORLD to be an example of a 'perfect game' (but only from my view point, I grant you that!)

Yessss, I went into a shop and all the PS3 copies of BURNOUT, MOTORSTORM, NEED FOR SPEED, COLIN McCRAE, RIDGE RACER and RACE DRIVER GRID had mysteriously disintergrated so I HAD to buy GT5 PROLOGUE.
So it's "lose/lose" for PS3 owners then eh? Impossible to counter that stance of yours.

I'd definately like to see some additional side missions to the SP campaign. Multiplayer (on all games) seems to get the lion's share of attention these days so it would be cool to see us "Billy no-mates" get some love for once.
Having said that, I'll take pretty much anything that makes this awesome game even more so.
And I allowed for that posibility in my 2.7 post. Still waiting for confirmation though...
And if someone 'rents' MGS4 then they haven't picked the right title for a quick spin. If someone buys it and returns it after one chapter then they really should research more before they make their game purchases.
