Ah haaa! I missed out on BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY first time round for some reason so now's my chance.
Got all the rest bar DMC and I'm not interested in that one.
I've come to the (rather obvious) conclusion that the 360 extremists who come prancing into the PS3 section (you know, the section for the console they despise and have no interest in) are children.
Be it a physical or mental state, they are kids: irresponsible, immature brats incapable of functioning on a rational level. Their bleatings shame the normal, mature 360 owners (of which there are many) every time they open their pathetic mouths, and their utterly predictable mew...
Cool! Hope we get both heads too (I always preferred the RO-BUSTERS one myself)
RO-JAWS would be a bit tough to do though, eh?
EDIT at below:
I see it's the ABC WARRIORS version... still good.
The Disagree Fairy has NO sense of humour!
Bloomin' Brilliant!!!! ROGUE TROOPER is sooo cool (but no Gunner?)
JUDGE ANDERSON is great too. I had a crush on her as a kid (as drawn by Brian Bolland, anyway) but as I got older I switched my loyalties to Judge Hershey.
And a 'surprise costume' eh? JUDGE DEATH might be a bit scary.. maybe THARG himself?
I didn't think the first one was a disaster, but there was a lot worng with it. Being a TF fan I'm bound to try out the sequel regardless... Won't beat the ARMADA game on PS2 I expect (which I still play on my PS3 even now)
A '9'? Wow, I didn't think the demo was that good, jusy 'okay'.
PS3 still going: REDSQUAD keeps his copy of INFAMOUS!
Wish they'd re-do the very first PS1 WIPEOUT in HD. Maybe as DLC for the existing game, which is sublime!
By now I'm very wary of Eurotrash reviews so won't quite dismiss FUEL out of hand. But, both MOTORSTORM titles are regularly in my PS3 and I'm just not in the market for a similar game right now.
Maybe when it's a tad cheaper...
Wasnt a huge fan of RAG DOLL, but I wouldn't call it "rotten". It certainly lacked longevity though and I am surprised it outsold BURN ZOMBIE BURN, which I thought was great fun.
FLOWER is in a league of it's own though and should be number one.
Get lost Mooks, I am GENUINELY sick of you and everything you say.
It's so childish it isn't even mildly amusing anymore.
If you like a game then enjoy it, if you don't then ignore it. That's what ADULTS do.
Pathetic...
I thought the ability to harness electricity was rather imaginative, actually. I mean, just about every superpower has been done to death anyway (flight, phasing, invisibility etc.) so SP should be given kudos for AVOIDING the cliches they could have used.
Besides... "Teletext"??? Snnnfffff... I suppose they've got to pretend they're still a viable media outlet in this day and age. At least this review will give the likes of Mooks and Shadowman something to giggle ...
Seems the more extreme Xbox owners (aka the usual suspects) get more excited about a PS3 game (possibly) being delayed than their own release line-up.
That says something quite profound, doesn't it?
Well he's entitled to his opinion of course, but I think it deserves more based on the demo alone.
I've gone for the special edition with the tin & comic thingy so may have to wait a couple of days after the release before I get mine in the post. Thank god the bank holiday was this week and not next or I'd be waiting even longer!
Not too bothered about the UC2 beta as I'll be getting that game regardless.
C'mon, PROTOTYPE must be the 'winner': It has action figures!
...and a comic.
And people say INFAMOUS is 'overhyped'...
I just use my debit card here in the UK. No problem for me!
I don't see multiplayer working in INFAMOUS anyway (from either a technical or narrative standpoint).
I thought there might be DLC down the line (new missions, new powers etc.) simply because that's the trend for games these days, but INFAMOUS is so BIG that I don't consider it essential. There'll be plenty to keep me going!
I'm a sucker for LITTLE BIG PLANET costumes, especially ones as good as the 2000 AD pack, so I couldn't resist the temptation.
Now to start building an LBP "Lawmaster" motorcycle for Judge Sack and a MEGA CITY for him to patrol...
Quite liked the Psychokinetic Wars demo too - It played like a bargain basement UT3 but was fun. I may get the full game if I find myself with a few spare coppers some time.
