Wow, has anybody said anything really bad about INFAMOUS yet (apart from those in terrified denial like Saren Arterius of course!)?

Seems a lot of people are judging this game because of what they think of '50 Cent' as as opposed to whether it's good or not.
Personally I don't know, but some reviews did say it wasn't a bad game and could be fun. As some here have already said, far worse games sell far better.
You're repeating the same mantra over and over and OVER so many times that you have actually managed to convince yourself. Thing is, it won't work on anyone else... Not everybody is going to buy what you're peddling just because YOU keep sayin' it!.
And you do know that you are free to NOT buy this game? Ignore it and move on - UNCHARTED won't hurt you if you do.

As it's the only console I own right now and I'm been playing great games since launch, every year has been the PS3's year as far as I'm concerned.

Well you'd have to say that wouldn't you, as you don't really have a choice between the two.
I'm way more excited for this game now, even more so than I was for KZ2. I've had it on order for months but pushed it to the back of mind and went on to other things, but now the buzz for INFAMOUS is really getting me fired up.
And when GS and and IGN produce good reviews (following the good previews they've already had), you'll rubbish them too, I'm sure.

I'm sure every gen has had idiots waiting in the wings with hate and bile to direct at whatever company they feel deserves it, but back then there was no mouth piece for their rants. This is 'progress'...
Good gameplay has nothing to do with a game's age. Look at something like Super Mario World; It still plays great, and that was released over a decade ago.
Now there's a blast from the past. OUT OF THIS WORLD was one hell of a game, and this a cool homage!

Back on the non-hate version of the topic: No demo for me. Don't think I really need one to convince me that I'll enjoy INFAMOUS. I liked the free-roaming of ASSASSIN'S CREED, but was put off by the repetition (which actually prevented me finishing the game), so I should get into this pretty quickly if it's more action oriented.

The article is written in a very childish way by someone who's clearly had a knee-jerk "throw teddy in the corner" moment.
Anybody who wants to get GHOSTBUSTERS the game WILL be able to. Some have to wait a bit longer than others, that's all - I've had to do it plenty of times for other games and it didn't stunt my growth or anything.
It's not as if some people had the game snatched away from them permanently...
