Not sure why people still say "no game should get a 10 because no game is perfect".
This isn't quantum physics and there are no absolutes. Giving a brilliant game 9.999 recurring because a '10' would suggest perfection is plain silly. 10 just means 'exceptional' in my view, not 'perfect'. If anyone DOES take it to mean the latter than they're treating game scoring as rocket science when it isn't justified or needed.
Not sure what you expect from a movie based on 3 3/4 action figures.
Considering both the original comic & cartoon often featured sub-James Bond action, hammy melodrama and villains camper than Butlins, I think Paramount and Steven Sommers have done a good job of translating GI JOE to the real world without it collapsing into farce (only judging by the trailer of course).
The game looks a bit weak though!
I am SO SICK of being labelled 'fanboy' because I happen to dislike the general trend of any given website.
It's my DAMN RIGHT To get my back up at the constant snide (but often tacit) digs at something I happen to like, so all the people saying how 'kee-jerk' Sony FANS (We're not all "fanboys" regardless of what you'd love to think to make yourselves feel better) are to certain sites' constant baiting, stop being so snottily superior, sniffing "Wah, read the who...
Hey, if this is done cheap enough and is a success then great, but then HD-DVD would have been 'great' too had it been a success. Big "if" there!
I doubt many of the male avatars look like their real counterparts either. Mine certainly doesn't...
I wish people would stop using "shocking" jokes...
Just a gut reaction to Kotaku I suppose. For some bizarre reason they manage to bring out the cynic in me... Can't imagine why.
UNCHARTED is "decent"?
Just can't bring youself to say it can you?
"Fred promised me £100
Fred came through and paid up in full
Harry promised me £1000
But Harry backed down and only gave me 50p.
VERDICT:
Harry offered me the most so he's now my bestest friend!"
What was up with the last two (in your opinion)?
I thought the Vektan Cruiser was ace.
It's not as if the release version doesn't have great maps to start with. These are just an optional 'bonus'.
Besides, a few months back a lot of people were begging for KZ2 DLC. Maybe Guerilla just wanted to meet the demand...
I spent a few bob on the PSN store last week so need some freebies this time round. The INFAMOUS demo will keep me going until the official release quite nicely (alternating with my LBP level-building shenanigans)
Still not convinced this is a 'must have' for me.
Really glad I didn't decide to snag one of those £60+ copies from Ebay a few weeks back.
...you MUST be confused if you think a statement to the effect that "the PS3 sells well in Europe" automatically means "nobody in Europe likes the 360". Are you bipolar?
I agree.
Everyone else seemed to love the train the most yet I found the Cruiser far more satisfying. Glad I'm not alone!
Both look as polished as I'd expect for this great game, but I wish they would have redone the 'shanty' map from KZ1. That was always my favourite...
Oh dear god, I'm cancelling my preorder for the Special Edition of INFAMOUS, chucking my PS3 in the bin and mending my ways...
...oh wait, 'EUROGAMER'... Forget I said that. INFAMOUS here I come!!!!
Not in my house they won't.
Some developers would rather hammer a square peg into a round hole than take time & effort to craft a new & unique 'round peg' that would fit perfectly.
