The studio is working on a new game
So are we now at a point where big budgets games are bad? They are clearly prioritizing bigger games, as those have proven to be the most successful for them. Even before the new CEO took over, Sony has been talking about investing more in these type of games. For me, I see this, similar to how Sony prioritized single play games when most other publishers were focusing on games as a service
It's only a matter of time before we start seeing negative articles about Sony focusing too much on blockbuster games
It's funny how things change, when Sony in the past said they will focus on smaller indie games, they were literally called indiestation. Now they have a new CEO that wants to prioritize the big games most of us want and you now have another group saying the opposite.
I don't think Sony is going to stop releasing smaller games, I just think they are going to invest more in the bigger games. Personally am all for that, I just don't see the point for a remastered...
Can you please point out where I am defending this? It will be nice to know how you arrived at such a claim from a question. I am literally asking what triggered you people? Was it because they had a woman with a metal arm? I don't fully recall all the details, but I recall some people literally being very hurt, when the first trailer was released and they showed the woman with the metal arm.
Honest question, was it the woman with a metal arm that triggered people this much? And is that what you consider appease certain audience? Am just curious.
That will be very big for MS, but will also no doubt be extremely expensive.
I have no problem with games that increase in price, as long as there are no micro transactions in them.
Well, any company should be worried if a multi-platform game sell a lot more on their competitors system. I highly doubt MS would tell us how many people on gamepass actually downloaded and played the game. It will be a very bad look for MS if Playstation numbers exceed theirs, especially given that those on Playstation had to pay full price.
@nirwanda
If Sony isn't being told to put the game on Game pass, then my guess it, MS must have paid quite a bit of cash, or made some deal with Sony.
Ignorance at it's finest
I really wish, some gamers would stop pretending to care of these studios now. No one is to blame but gamers, I keep seeing people list their games, yet very very few of us supported them when they were releasing games
Also why push the balme on Jim? Yes he is the one in charge, but this decision to close the studio had more than likely been under evaluation for quite some time now, long before Jim became head. Given games take years to make, I can assume they were give a ...
Or maybe it's the fault of the so called fans who now all of a sudden care about them, but didn't seem to care about supporting them when they were releasing games.
Oddworlds and Days gone look nice.
Still hurt?
This is going to trigger some people
You still hurt?
That will mean Joel and Ellie making out.
Maybe because his comment is actually filled with ignorance and lies. We all know there are certain people in this community, that get hurt when a woman or minority is in the spotlight. You literally have to ignore all her 19-20 years of experience and the AAA games she worked on in order to agree with sonic.
It seems some people are not happy seeing Sony investing more in big budgets games.
