I honestly don't think anyone is here to change your mind, you can claim the game is bad all you want, it's it wining awards.
You opinion and those who dislike the game is not required, if more users and critics keep voting for the game, it will kee winning awards. I strongly believe it will get a few more awards
I mean it's not like people where so hurt and triggered they attacked the game and those who worked on it before the game was even released. I am also sure people did harasse the devs, sending them deaths threats, racist anti-semitic messages, threatening the voice actress and her daughter, as well as review bombing the game with thousands of fake accounts within an hour after the game was released.
What you call criticism is nothing but different opinions, nothing more...
What is so odd about this game rising above the fake internet outrage and winning awards from both critics and fans alike. Let me guess the truth is far too much for you to handle?
@gamer7804
Someone appears to be really hurt by this, but we all expected this
Keep going my dear boy...girl or whatever you may identify as.
Whatever makes you 💤 😴
Part 1 was so complex i could literally predict how the game was going to play out within the first hour. It was fun, but extremely predictable for me, and held little to no surprises for me.
Given your comment history and the fact that part 2 triggers you so much, I highly doubt you can stand any comment that doesn't fit your narrative.
And as I said, we all know what Zero was referring to. You are the one that jumped in and literally began repeating...
Bullshit do you know how to read? He's comparing the original to the sequel and this game IS about revenge and the effects it can have on you while the original was a story about love and how far you would be willing to go to protect someone you love.
And I can say the original was nothing but an escort mission, a simple story and a very predictable ending that you can see from a country mile away.
As I said, we all know what Zero meant when he or s...
Did you even read what I wrote? I literally said Elie/Abby were both obsessed with revenge to the point that it destroyed their family, friends and livelihood, you are repeating what I said.
Also, let make one thing clear, when Zero said; as opposed to revenge = bad, we all know he/she is talking about, or referring to, the ending of the game, not what the game is about
@Imalwaystight
How about you learn how to read? Nothing and I mean literally nothing in the article you linked or in the game backed up the so called claim revenge=bad. The game is a tale of revenge as Neil stated, both Elie and Abby were obsessed with revenge to a point that, they both lost a lot, ranging from their families, friends to their livelihood, but nothing about
revenge =bad.
So I will ask you, where does Neil ever claim revenge = bad...
The simple fact that you just said revenge = bad about the game either shows you didn't play the game or you stopped paying attention and actually have no idea what the game is about.
No where in the game does it ever show or imply to you revenge = bad. If anything the game shows you the consequences of decisions and that an obsession can lead to an individual losing everything whiles in pursuit of that obsession.
You are not the first, second, third or fourth ...
Disagree, but to each their own.
Some people are not going to be happy seeing You know what on that list. They will more than likely say, Sony is paying them and the list is rigged.
Did he just say one of the founding principles of CDPR was honesty and direct communication with gamers? I wonder, what changed them?
Says who you? Sony literally had an award show where every Playstation user had the chance to vote, you know fans that actually own the platformthe game is on, and take a wild guess which game won the most awards? Also do you care to take another wild guess which game won the golden joystick awards? Want me to list more awards were users/readers voted for TLOU or you only count awards it didn't win?
I honestly do not think it's worth my time explaining what I found impactful in a video to someone like you.
The game is here to stay, you getting triggered by it or wishing it was never made isn't going to change the fact that it's here and a lot of people love it. I am happy to see the game getting awards, from both critics, fans and happy knowing Sony stood behind Neil and the studio as they were being harassed by self proclaiming salty fans.
Just shows you are childish a lot of self proclaim fans in video games are. I truly feel bad for the devs and voice actress. The fact that people thought it was ok, to send death threats, racist anti-semitic, harassing devs, wishing for them to lose their jobs and to see the studio fail, all over a made up story in a video game, is truly depressing.
Neil can literally just take a walk outside and snowflakes are going to get triggered. I am glad Sony stood by him and the st...
It's 2021, seeing this game getting more awards, must not be making some people happy. It seems both fans and critics keep giving the game awards
Wow, this made up story in this game is truly killing you isn't it? And seeing it getting awards from both fans and critics must be worst than salt on an open wound.
For me, there are more scenes in part 2 that were far more impactful than anything in part 1. But that's just my opinion
Truth hurts
