@Seraphim
You better set the bar high if you have spent a huge amount of money on a project. I highly highly doubt Sony expects every new IP to sell like GOT or Horizon. I highly doubt they had such level of expectations for a game like Dreams or returnal. But if you are running a business and spend a huge amount of money, possibly hundreds of millions of dollars, on a single project, you better hope you make enough to cover the cost and warrant a sequel
It might have sold well, but it clearly didn't meet Sony's expectations, it more than likely didn't make enough for Sony to want to invest in a sequel. Let's also not forget it had a lot of trouble during development
I actually really enjoyed this game
Yeah, but the company bringing you those game care, you know, they might, go out of business or stop making consoles. I care if Sony systems sell well, since Playstation is my favorite and I am guaranteed to get some of the games I like, as long as they keep doing well. Just as I am sure an Xbox or Nintendo fan will be happy their favorite system is doing well.
The Switch is literally a gen ahead? And had a 3 year head start. I wonder, why not compare systems in the same generation? I mean we all know why some Fanboys pretend the 8th gen never existed.
The truth always seemed to trigger some people. And hey, if you think it's made up, more power to you, have zero interest in convincing someone online i got suspended for insulting a Q supporter online.
Whatever makes you sleep at night. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to know, you should be careful about what you say to online, especially when you have a signed contract.
Oh please, given the amount of hate and fake outrage we saw for this game, I will say, it more so, some people are still very salty and get triggered very easily by this game. Plus, we know some people here use bots
I have noticed that, anyone that puts The Last of Us Part II as their number 1, get a lot of down votes. Some people are still very much salty and seeing it as the number 1 for some people must have really triggered them.
I guess people never learn, especially when you are on the payroll of a billion dollar company and you signed a contract with them. I learned my lesson, after I was suspended for calling a lady, a very stupid woman, after she began posting Qanon links and photoshoped images, as proof.
You sound hurt. Does seeing women in video games trigger you that much? Reality must be hell for you.
I mean, no one is forcing you click on news about this game and get triggered by it. There are many other news on this site.
And here we go
I mean that guy is speaking facts. If you don't like something, don't buy it, I don't know why that triggered so many people. Also let's not forget the devs were being attacked for weeks if I am not mistaken, called woke or SJWs, after the very first trailer for the game dropped because a woman had a metal arm.
@Fox
Bruce rejected a shit load of ideas from Neil and moulded him into writing the story we got, it's been said, by both of them and yet people think it was all Neil. Bruce rejected the initial pitch for the first game which is basically the second game reworked because he didn't find it believable.
Nothing but lies, where did you get all this information from. I recall seeing posting something like this before, but have literally not been able to provide ...
knightedHollow
Neil was literally the lead writer and 1 of the creative director of the very first game, he was also the vice president. If there was any person on a project that would have his way, it's him. Also, let's not forget, Sony and Naughty Dog literally gave him a big promotion after part 2.
You mean the recent fake outrage?
I mean are you surprised by this? There were people literally getting triggered because Sony wants to invest more in big budget AAA games
His comment from what i can see was talking about all games, not just Days gone and he is right.
I just think Sony was far more prepared than other companies. I recall many people going after Sony when they revealed they were canceling events or delaying things.
