Meanwhile I've been waiting for a DS4 in Frostbite for a long time.
If I were interested in either the Pro or the X, the 1440p output on the X would be a major factor since I have a good 1440p monitor that I wouldn't be able to use properly with the Pro.
Collectibles because they are artificial content padding and mostly annoying to collect (Mad Max, MGS5 with animal species etc.)
If you think this is the biggest shock in Wolfenstein 2, you're in for a treat.
If you look at it in a shallow manner, yes, but each generation brings with it new possibilities in tech, which cause gameplay changes and genres to evolve. Look at Uncharted 1-3 (even on PS4) and then take a gander at Uncharted 4. It's absurdly larger, deeper and better. Look at GTA 3, GTA 4 and GTA 5 (although not really next gen) and tell me that resolution is the only thing that improved.
Which in itself isn't enough to call it a generational leap. Also, I am not impressed with the visuals of the game at all.
A generational improvement isn't just a resolution bump.
Hello, Motorstorm. We've missed you.
Unrealistic, you can't pet a cat whenever you want to.
Because we will never get anything special ever again?
If someone expects the Switch to run this at 60fps:

Me and my friends bought it a couple days ago and there are still plenty of people playing. It's also the most fun I had gaming in the last couple of months.
You can't bake DX12 into the chip since it's just a software layer for communicating with the hardware. DX12 doesn't depend on the CPU you use, but the GPU.
Sure, the Xbox One X has a much more powerful GPU than the PS4 Pro, but the fact that they both still use the same CPU, only slightly overclocked is the main flaw of the systems. And to be fair, they can't change the CPU. That would make it a completely new system and the development effort would double...
I'll wait for something more substantial than a racing game to show the power of the Xbox One X. It definitely has it, but there is only so much you can do to show it in a racing game. If it were something akin to Motorstorm or SplitSecond, then maybe, but a sim racer simply can't.
I disagree. Just because it's a popular TV show doesn't mean that it should spread across all media. It's a good show, it's good books. Leave it at that. The gameplay would be hard to capture properly anyway.
I expected headlines like these the moment the game was announced, as if Uncharted was suffering from having Drake as it's protagonist.
Newsflash - a female lead character doesn't mean the game got better just by the fact.
Why in the name of all that is holy to you would you want the next CS to be like this?
That's how you are supposed to benchmark CPUs.
I'm more frustrated with the game's horrible driving and sound design.
I'd like to see them punish people who use mouse and keyboard on consoles. It really is an unfair advantage over other players. I've encountered plenty of them and it's really frustrating.
