Let me guess, an AMD GPU?
Prior to Vulkan, AMD cards ran Doom like dogcrap. I'm actually not surprised you got that much of an increase.
Oh, the months I'm about to spend in this one...
Yeah, I know that. A single powerful card is always better than two mediocre ones. But then again, I'm starting to not like the closed direction Nvidia is going in.
I guess they thought they were shooting themselves in the foot because 2x1060 > 1080 for about the same price. What they don't know is that instead of shooting themselves in the pinky, they straight up amputated their leg.
Oh well.. both AMD and NVIDIA have their issues.
The driving in Watch Dogs was really, really bad. Completely and utterly horrible. Nowhere near simulation, they should feel ashamed for this statement.
So, no graphical update for 1 and 2 at all?
Yeah, I don't give a flying f***.
Horrible CPU optimization, awful driving, wonky physics, boring missions and a world that feels dead and fake.
What do you think is a foolish decision?
Nope, they are in most cases heavily scripted live demos. There's a guy on youtube who gets his hands on them and plays through them, so you can see what they're like (I remember him playing through Ghost Recon Future Soldier's E3 demo).
The thing is, they've already went through the trouble of making gorgeous scenes, environments and effects only to remove them for no apparent reason.

I wholeheartedly agree - if they already made it that way and the game runs fine (which it does in nearly all videos), there's no reason for them to remove it. No reason at all. Hell, the Far Cry 3 Vaas island demo was running on a PS3 and it ran perfectly fine, but for some reason, the version we got looked like utter crap in comparison. I mean, look at the foliage! Just look at it! The jungle looked so much more alive and believable compared to the plastic mess we got in the end.
They go through the trouble of creating something amazing and then even go through more trouble to make it less amazing than it already was. I mean, I understand that gameplay segments are scripted for the sake of the presentation, but just look at how much more detail a map had before it was actually FINISHED.
I'd even be happy with a remaster - if it's coming to PC as well, of course. Otherwise, meh.
Currently, pirated games are on a standstill when it comes to Denuvo protected games. One day, Denuvo too will fall and everything will be as it was before. The thing is - you can't blame piracy for poor sales. You just can't. If a product is of high quality, it will be bought - simple as that. If there's no value to be had from buying a game, no one will.
GTA5 didn't pull you in and you found it boring because it was just too easy and casual. The story was good and on a technical level it's a masterpiece, but the gameplay is just too easy and not challenging. Remember how driving was difficult in GTA4? That's what made it better.
The Witcher 3 is amazing in this respect. It's seriously one of the best games ever made because it's difficult, engaging and has depth.
Looks like the graphics are improved a bit. The contrast seems a lot better + there are new textures all over the place (for instance, the batsuit).
I wish this would make it to PC, at least in the form of a texture and contrast update. I need somethin to get back into the games, I've finished them both dozens of times.
Took them long enough.
I guess you guys didn't find Archdragon's Peak.
The Nameless King is easily more difficult than any other boss in the game. Kudos to the Abyss Watchers though, they pissed me off on my first playthrough. Died 5-6 times.
Well, they have to make sure somehow that people will buy the shitty new one too.
Ghost Recon WIldlands won't sell that much at all considering how bad it looks. They had a good idea, but for the love of god they did not, repeat DID NOT execute it well.
